I was in Hangzhou for about 5 days as part of a graduate study abroad course with 20 of my classmates. I really loved the location of this hotel because it was directly across from a really large department store with a supermarket and Starbucks (better than some U.S. stores!) in the basement and walking distance from street shops. It...

A fairly well presented external building and main hall, but then very poorly maintained lifts, corridor and rooms. For example, there are very few light bulbs in general, which makes it look very dark, also very low ceilings in corridors. Book only if location is convenient to you and if you get a good deal. First the good, location is walking distance to West Lake. Rooms look nice, though the details leave much to be desired (drawers made of splintering plywood, dirty shower corners). Now to the customer service. The gentlemen at the concierge desk were very helpful giving us tips on where to explore around West Lake. And finally to the reason for the...

First, don't expect a lot. This is a three to four-star Chinese hotel and it is run with a lack of the extra finesse usually associated with better brand name hotels. The location of the hotel is not bad. We came in by train and the Hangzhou train station is just 10min drive away by taxi. Take my advice and...

There have been a few negative comments on here about the hotel, but what you need to undrestand ia that this is a city hotel and not a resort hotel. If you want a pool or to spend all day lounging in 5 star facilities this is not for you. What it is, is situated in a perfect location for...

Although the front of the hotel is a little confusing (it looks as if you are walking into a mall), once you are checked in and ushered up to your room, it is a stylish and comfortable place. No wi-fi in the room, just down in the lobby, which is a great way to watch the world go by anyway....

This is a nice 3.5 star hotel. We chose a room with no windows. Great room (smelled a bit musty though)- pretty spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also very large. There was a lot of construction work going on at the entrance. But the lobby was well decorated. As for the room, the bed was comfy and there...

The hotel lobby has no taste at all, it is not a 4 star standard anyway. We arrived at lunch, so we just took lunch in the hotel, a very low class chinese restaurant is in the corner of the lobby, the price is scaring, I odered a beef steak for my son, it costed 32 Euro, the most part...

We stayed one night at the hotel and it was a pleasant surprise. The location is really great – only 5 min walk from the west lake and 11 RBM in a taxi from the train station (if you are arriving with high speed train from Shanghai). The room is rather large, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom...

I stayed at this hotel for one night and I didn't really like it. Overall, the building was very nice and had a futuristic feel to it. The room was very visually pleasing, but I had some issues. When I walked into my hotem room, it smelled very musty and like smoke (it was a non smoking room). I took...
