Nice hotel in a good location in Xian, walking distance to most tourist, shopping and eating points. Direct bus available to and from the Airport every half hour for RMB25, taxi is around RMB165 and takes roughly the same time. The hotel is showing its age but we are use to this with most Chinese owned hotels. Room was large...

we stayed in this hotel as part of an escorted tour of china , the staff were friendly and helpful the food was good but the wine was expensive. The bar service closed at 11pm which was not good if you fancied a night cap after a long day sightseeing. I like the décor of the hotel you knew you...

We were upgraded to a suite in the hotel, which was very nice and well appointed with all the facilities you could need. Free wifi available in the room. Hotel is close to the ancient city wall and parks and within walking distance of the the drum/bell towers, would recommend doing a tour of the city by night to experience...

I agree with the reviewer who described this hotel as the low point in their escorted tour. The rooms are dirty, the carpet in the rooms and in the dining room were filthy. Not enough towels even for 2 people. No safe. Several in our tour mentioned stopped up sinks or broken shower heads. The dining room was packed with...

We stayed in this hotel as part of an escorted holiday to China so we had no say in the choice. It is true to say that The Grand Metropark was the 'lowlight' of our twelve day trip. If this hotel has already been booked for/by you, then panic not, it is a clean, well-located place to stay. However, if...

Located near to city center, this hotel is accessible to some shopping and tourist attraction by 20mins walk. Generally the hotel was a little old, but rooms are decently maintained. There were convenient stores around the hotel and just opposite there are some fast food too. Sleep quality was okay, and breakfast spread could have been more variety.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in 3 different rooms as we were travelling in and out of Xi'an for our tour. No complaints, this hotel was better than what we were expecting from reading other reviews. The room on our first night was the best, when we had the adjoining rooms at the end of corridor which was...

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night in October as part of a group tour of China so didn’t use all the facilities but found it to be friendly, spotless and central. Plenty of bars, restaurants, shops in immediate vicinity and about 20 minutes stroll to ancient walls. Large king-sized bedroom, a little tired in décor but spotless. Room facilities...

Good size of room and plenty of not water but just a little tired. Breakfast was adequate with nothing to really complain about. It a short distance from the centre of town and typical of a touring hotel.

I stayed here one night and it's long enough. I was traveling through China with Smartours and they claim it's a five star hotel. It might be three stars. The rooms are standard and need and upgrade much like the rest of the hotel. The breakfast is not to my liking but that's subjective. They do have a great fitness...
