We really enjoyed our two night stay here. The entrance and foyer are ,as the hotel name suggests, very grand indeed with extensive marble floors and columns.

Very baroque, too ornate from my view, all marble and large lamps but with wonderful quiet corners.

We stayed there in March 2014, and had 2 non-smoking rooms. In one room, a prior guest had smoked, but the housekeeping staff were able to eliminate the smoky odor very quickly, so they clearly know what do to to keep their... More

In one room, a prior guest had smoked, but the housekeeping staff were able to eliminate the smoky odor very quickly, so they clearly know what do to to keep their non-smoking rooms smelling non-smoky. Perhaps contacting the hotel's reservation desk directly might help.
