This is a lovely hotel and we were so sorry our stay was so short. It is situated in a beautiful park with buggy service from the park entrance to the hotel if required. The rooms are in separate buildings set in attractive grounds, with well tended plants, carp pools and a swimming pool. Our room was spacious, clean and...

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Be sure you understand that you'll have to taxi into town for meals and catching a taxi BACK to the hotel can be daunting. If it's raining, forget about it. The hotel restaurant is open for dinner with a large menu but prices are on the high side, especially considering what...

This hotel was our first night in China and a great welcome. The grounds are picture perfect and the rooms are very clean and well kept. The hotel offers free airport pick up and the driver was there waiting with our names on the sign even though our flight was almost an hour late. I'm glad we requested pick up...

It was a joy to stay in this hotel, with well tended grounds set within a botanic park. The accommodation with private patio was well laid out, very clean and comfortable with a good sized en-suite and super large shower. The grounds were lovely with bright shoals of carp within the pools, ponds, and waterways set throughout the hotel's grounds....

Our original room on the first floor was quite musty (humidity, carpeting and curtains are not a good mix) and the smell was so unpleasant that we asked to be moved. We were relocated readily and our room on the second floor didn't smell. The carpeting in both rooms has seen better days. The staff at the front desk didn't...

This villa style hotel is set in the middle of Guilin's botanical garden. A cynic might wonder has that was allowed to happen, but who cares. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff spoke the best English of the four hotels we visited. A beautiful spot to stay in with easy access to shopping and public transportation.

The hotel is very nice. It is located inside a botanical garden, and you can see people walking around, exercising all the time. In order to get to the hotel, you have to get a golf cart, which is a bit inconvenient as you might have to wait a bit. The landscape around the hotel is beautiful, very well maintained....

We stayed at the Guilinyi Royal Palace for 2 nights in June 2016 and wished it had been for longer. As others have said, the grounds and style are lovely - there was a huge banana tree right outside our room - it was so neat. We especially enjoyed the outdoor pool after spending a day out touring. The gate...

I ended up here by mistake when I gave the taxi the wrong information. I usually travel on a budget, but if you book this online you get a US$69 bargain. The hotel is located in the center of a large botanical garden/park and not easy to find. Because of their location I think they have trouble staying full and...

I found this quite an enchanting hotel - the traditional Chinese-style (inspired) architecture, lovely green pools, warm hospitality and nightly guzheng performances in the teahouse, and location in the middle of a charming garden combined to make my stay a very pleasant one, and I would love to go back in another season sometime. Anyone considering a stay here should...
