We've booked this hotel through Bookings.com. The directions from the Guilin airport to the hostel was clear and easy to follow. The staff was friendly and helpful. The assisted us with queries and gave helpful advice regarding tours and transport options. As we stayed for a few days at Wada, Yangshou, they arranged the accommodation there as well. Most of... We loved our stay at the Wada! It's a fun and convenient place to stay. The staff is wonderful, they are super nice, always happy to help, and treat you like family and friends. Shout out to Kristy who helped us with literally everything, she is awesome! From the airport, you can take a shuttle directly to Swan Hotel and... More

This place is like an island of the Western world inside Guilin... but it's mainly for foreign students. Having said that, we really enjoyed the change of pace from the city surrounding it. The food was excellent. Pool table was quite worn.

We arrived from Nanning to a warm welcome at reception, where we were given information about the free shuttle service they provide and the activities that were on in the hostel during our stay. The beds are so comfy, and the aircon is great. The food is amazing, especially the humous! The people who work here are great and will... More

We were so happy with our stay at the Wada Hostel! It had everything we needed on site, and the Wada Girls were such a delight, their English was fabulous (much, much better than our Mandarin!) The Girls were so helpful with tips & tours, and writing information for us to make it so much easier for us to purchase... More

We cannot compliment this hostel and the staff enough! We spent three nights in this hostel and the staff went over and above to help us book accommodation in places where English was limited, as well as bus and train travel, and rearrange some travel tickets we had already bought. The rooms were clean, the food absolutely delicious, and the... More

Stayed here 2 nights, 16 & 17 May 2016. Double ensuite room. Great hostel. Room was clean and bright, bed was comfy. Food was great and plenty of it. Staff were brilliant. Friendly, helpful, efficient. Joined in the dumpling making party on the Monday night which was great fun. Great value.

I was given a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble at the Wada Hostel, Guilin! For Chinese standards the mattress was the same quality as in a 3 star hotel! I had the Full English Breakfast served with English tea and it was amazing, a taste sensation that took me back to my native country of England! Ace... More

One of the friendliest staffs I have ever delt with among traveling. The hostel staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating and went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant. I really appreciate good customer service and they went above and beyond. From a refund for a poorly done excursion (that wasn't even their fault) to helping me... More
