Listvyanka is an ideal place lied on Baikal in a special corner which is the intersection point between the river Angara feeding the Baikal lake. Chalets Listvyanka is an amazing hotel and considered once of the best places for those who may target quietness and relaxation moments. However there is somehow limitation in breakfast menu and also limitation in the... More

We had one night at the Listvyanka chalet which is 1.2 km from Lake Baikal shore and the fishmarket, uphill on a sealed road without footpaths so would be fine for backpackers to walk but not if you are pulling suitcases. We were met with a car at the alternate jetty which was way at the other end of town... More

Wonderful accommodation, clean, great food, lovely room, very helpful staff. Highly recommended. Lots to see from the Chalet which is off the main road, so it's very peaceful. The Lake Baikal Trail begins on this road - great place to start a long distance pack walk.

Stayed here as part of a group tour. Unlike what the website (and lonely planet book) states, breakfast is not included, wifi is 100rubles per person and you cannot see the lake from all the rooms (as stated on the website). We arrived in a group of 8 and there was only enough hot water for showers for 4 of... More

Servicing our every need we enjoyed two days here while visiting the Baikal lake. Locted away from the busy boulevard this place is peacefull and the view through the hill upon the lake is beautiful. Above all that the hostess speaks English and is very helpfull in planning yout daytime activities.

We had a break on our Trans Siberian rail trip in at the Chalet. Maria and her team were excellent, they fed us well at breakfast and dinner, supplied endless tea and coffee, a free WiFi, a quick laundry service and a good room. It was a perfect break from the train and we left feeling incredibly relaxed and invigorated.... More

We stayed at the chalet for two nights. We arrived very late, after 10 pm, but we were welcomed with tea (black, not green), coffee, halva and biscuits. Our room, 12, shared a balcony with room 13 looking down through the village to Baikal Lake. It is less than a 10 minute interesting walk down to the lake. Where you... More

We enjoyed our stay here. The hosts couldn't do enough for us. The room was spacious enough for us and the meals satisfied us. Our stay was in conjunction with the Baikal Complex for a stop over from the Trans-Siberian train, Beijing to Moscow. Thank you to everyone.

Very good time in Baïkal Chalet. Good and generous food, specialy at breakfast. Easy going ladies with the kids. Wifi is available but limited in streamsize. Do not forget to passby Sergey's Banya at 10 min. Walk from the hotel, just terrific.

The guesthouse/chalet is situated half way up a quiet street between the banks of the Baikal Lake and the start of the Great Baikal Trail. The location ensures you can easily hike into the mountains (yes, even in winter!) but also easily access the shores of the lake with its mainly restaurants, cafes and small shops. The wonderful hostess speaks... More
