The location of the Hotel is ok. The room was very nice, big and clean. Only one quite small window, but I didin't need any better. The service was very kind and good. Free parking available even for some hours after check out. Well working and fast WiFi. Big and nice bathroom.
The only thing drawing down the score is the strong smell of mold in the bathroom. This was maybe because I couldn't see any proper or mechanical air conditioning there. It seemed to me that the moist stayed in the bathroom for quite long even though there was floor warming.

My son and I stayed at the Northern Crown Hotel for two nights. The hotel is located about 20 minutes walk from the city center. The rooms require renovation, the shower is not very comfortable. We arrived in Vyborg for the first time, also in the evening, this was the first location we visited. The area around is unkempt, dirty, everything is falling apart. Maybe it’s better in the summer, we were in April. Inside, the stairs and flights resemble a hospital or a hostel, these dark tiles are even scary, and the carpeted, cheap, unkempt paths look depressing. The elevator is good, but the linoleum inside is swollen. This hotel has a rating of 4 and 3 stars, but even for 1 economy room it is difficult to pull off. If a place has 3 stars, it must fully correspond to this rating. But it turns out that only the comfort and standard rooms can qualify for this rating, judging by the photo. Yes, and when we passed, we saw that there was a better corridor with beautiful linoleum and doors with cards, not a key, and the doors themselves were beautiful. You could at least put the same linoleum everywhere to bring the establishment to UNIFORMITY. We didn't like it, so we moved to another one. We wrote widespread reviews on Yandex, but they rejected the photos. And the photo is the most important. Otherwise you can be deceived.
