Multifunctional Complex “Gornyi” was officially opened in the beginning of 2016 – in the heart of Vasilyevsky Island. Complex is located within 10 minutes walk from Primorskaya tube station, 15 minutes to Passenger Port “Marine Façade” and because of the close location to the HightSpeed Motorway the trip to/from the airport takes only 30 mins. The Hotel occupies one of the buildings of the multifunctional complex and offers 212 different room categories with different level of comfort including rooms with disabled access. On the Hotel territory there is a Congress Hall designed for carrying out various events with total capacity up to 1500 people. Our modern conference rooms are equipped with the latest technology. The total area of the hotel is 19 000 m2 which allows you to accommodate several tourist groups and hold an event at the same time without causing any inconvenience to either guests or participants.

We stayed in September, the room was very clean, everything was in the room. Cleaning daily, linen and towels changed promptly. Replenishment of tea set and bath products daily. The staff is polite and responsive. The breakfasts are amazing, everything is very tasty! Nearby are shops and cafes. The metro is not very far, you can walk slowly. If you need to go to Moskovsky Station or Nevsky Prospekt, you can take bus number 7 or trolleybuses number 10 and 11. The stop is right next to the hotel. We are satisfied with our vacation. We will definitely return. I recommend!

Title: "IFC Gorny! The first thing that attracts attention is the architectural design of the building. The complex looks modern and stylish, and its surroundings perfectly combine nature and urban infrastructure. Within the kit there are many leisure opportunities. The service is friendly! As for the staff, their work was commendable. All staff were polite and responsive, available to help with any question. In general, MFC Gorny left me with positive emotions. It is a great place for both outdoor activities and quiet pastimes. I recommend to anyone who wants to spend time in good and comfortable fashion!

Junior suite with a balcony, but without a door to it. We had to get out through the window (!) In the mornings we woke up from loud conversations on the neighboring balcony. These are the Chinese talking loudly to their homeland. And so - for several days. Until I explained using profanity in English that one should not talk loudly at 6 am while standing on the balcony, they did not calm down. The Chinese are the main disadvantage of this hotel in September 2023.

I stayed there for 4 nights, the staff were mostly helpful, breakfast was Ok, however, rooms were not clean and room service was really terrible. Elevators were not functioning properly and not enough for such a big hotel, we had to wait for a long time since it would carry only 4 people. After 7pm there was no one at the reception desk.

I stayed here for 4 nights on business. Everything in my room seemed to be new or near new, and the areas of the hotel I saw were fresh and well maintained. My room was quiet, comfortable and clean. As someone else mentioned the shower drain was a bit slow. The internet was also too slow for my fairly heavy business use requirements, but staff directed me to the MTC store for a SIM card - mobile data is very cheap in Russia. At breakfast on my first morning I was disappointed to find throngs of tourists in the dining room, but on the second day I found the much quieter breakfast room reserved for business guests. Breakfast was excellent and included everything I expected. About half of the staff I interacted with spoke English, just not the nice lady who tried to explain the breakfast room to me on day 1!! I would stay here again if visiting St Petersburg for business.

Avoid staying in this government running hotel, it is far from city center, no metro station nearby. After taking shower all the bathroom becomes a lake. Lobby is dirty and at night is so dark and frosted. Rooms are noisy because of the street in front of hotel. Housekeeping is poor.

Dear Nima, thank you for your feedback. Our sincere apologies for any inconvinince coused. However, your travel agent should've told you that we are not in the city centre, but we are located very close (witin 7 mins walk) to any public transport which will take you 20 mins to get to Nevsky Avenue and your way to/from the airport takes only 25 mins because of the close location to High Speed Motorway.

I logged in this with some group of UK delegates for IOM3 for a conference in collaboration with Saint Petersburg Mining University for 4 days , it was brilliant and unforgettable experience. The room are spacious, neat and the breakfast is far better than some that I have tasted before in some hotels. I hereby recommend them.

If you visiting Saint Petersburg you might stay in center city instead of staying is side city Hotel, this Hotel is located outside, Good is that you can access this area by metro line 3, but if you want to stay more in center then I don't recommend this hotel, hotel is very simple and it's only good for sleeping, as far as city cut by bridge which closed from midnight till 5:00 AM you may back to this hotel on max. 12:00 midnight.
