Detailed Reviews
After a lot of research we booked a room six months in advance, asking for a large one facing the canal because of our early
reservation. We were very happy with our stay and especially with the helpfulness of the front desk - before we arrived we were in email contact and replies were helpful and prompt. We were in room 304 and disappointed by it’s size which, based on the room map behind the door, looked smaller than others and had no bath. My wife loved the under-floor heating in the bathroom. I spoke with the Manager about its size but this was inconclusive. The location is very close to the Hermitage but good walking distance from other places. Overall it was a great stay and we would strongly recommend it. PS The breakfast next door was extensive but pricey, so try the charming bakery on the corner a few hundred yards on the right.

The perfect location in the center of St. Petersburg and close to most of the numerous attractions is the most valuable asset of this hotel. The rooms are clean, calm and comfortable. Price-performance ratio is unbelievable good and the service (in particular transport from the airport, organizing taxis and restaurant recommendations) of the hotel staff was very attentive. There is not one negative thing to say about this hotel. It simply was an amazing stay!

Just returned to Moscow from four nights in this gorgeous hotel. Both the property and the staff are charming in every way.
Vasily and Yulia on reception are a delight. They have impeccable levels of English and good hospitality is in their blood.
They have an obvious desire to provide the warmest welcomes and a perfect stay, they were so helpful- thank you immensely!
Once in the middle of the night my phone charger broke, and the night staff kindly charged my phone for me too.
Maxim was a very efficient bell boy, and always gave us a friendly hello.
Although the staff are the truest asset, a few words on the beautiful property:
It has an old fashioned St.Pete charm, in the best possible way, because all furnishings and finishes are highly modern and clean, but still inkeeping with the Pushkin aesthetic.
We stayed in room 308, a perfect size, lovely clean and modern bathroom. A full sized hairdryer is provided, toothbrush, toothpaste, face flannels, robes, slippers and seperate shampoo, shower gel and conditioner which I really appreciate.
The room has air conditioning, black-out curtains, a desk, the bed was large and comfortable. Housekeeping was impeccable. There was a large port for charging about 8 or 10 electronics via USB at any time and plugs next to the bed.
I could go on and on about the lovely furnishings. I was just very impressed.
Each morning a little weather report is left on the doorhandle. I do not have a Russian passport and the hotel also registered me without any fuss.
As for the location of the hotel. I love that the property faces the canal, so you feel as though you are in a side street, but The Hermitage is literally a stones throw from the property.
We visited St.P on a very 'sightseeing-heavy' itinerary and found this to be the perfect location to reach all of the central attractions easily on foot.
I really hope that we will be back! Thank you so much for an idyllic stay.

There are no words to express my admiration for the hotel.
Pushkin, Pushchin and other future Decembrists ran along these steps as children, and in the next porch, in fact, there is Pushkin’s museum-apartment, I recommend going, many artifacts belonging to Pushkin. But that's not what this is about.
It’s hard to wish for a more luxurious location for a hotel. The best location. Authenic Millionnaya, Dvortsovaya, everything is within walking distance, and it’s not even 15-20 minutes, less!!! Around the corner is the Hermitage, 5-10 minutes walk to the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood and the Russian Museum (in the Marble Palace), 200 m, if you really need it, the Dixie store, super-budget))
The man who brightened our holiday from the moment of the first call is the manager Vasily, who subsequently maintained excellent conversations with wise advice, impeccable manners, and is very erudite. The staff behaves in a meticulous manner down to the smallest detail: they saw that I took a plastic cup for coffee at the reception desk and gave me a beautiful cup, for example. A trifle, a trifle, but nice. By the way, if you put authentic glass cups, it will add 1000 to the atmosphere, although it couldn’t be better) It’s just an idea. They are very sincere and attentive, but not intrusive, sincere, pleasant.
The room has just everything: an iron, an ironing board, bathrobes, all hygiene products from Grass, very pleasantly perfumed. We booked the simplest room on the attic, 4th floor, I really liked the views of the roofs and the quiet courtyard, the light from the ceiling interferes with the spit, you can close the attic window on the roof, but this is crazy romance, see photo. In general the hotel is quiet. The atmosphere of old St. Petersburg has been recreated, antiques are included in the interiors outside the rooms, while the rooms are modern, fresh, there is nothing to complain about.
There is an old elevator, modernized, of course, but it moves extremely slowly - its advanced age) After long walks around St. Petersburg, it helped us out, the 4th floor is high, and we got used to its leisurely pace)
I recommend the hotel, of course, during the season it is a little expensive for us, but I did not regret spending a single ruble on the hotel, it created a unique charm on this trip.
Thank you. Thanks again to Vasily.

The Pushka Inn is the only hotel we will stay in when visiting St. Petersburg. Why? Because its customer service is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and it's always with a smile on their face. Nothing is perfect but when there is a minor issue, it is resolved almost instantly. Rooms are extremely comfortable and well equipped. A special mention for the Junno restaurant - superb food at very reasonable prices and the 10% discount is greatly appreciated.

A wonderful hotel that has maintained its reputation for many years - I stayed here for the first time at school, with my parents, about 15 years ago.
I like the clean rooms here, soft beds, cozy views from the window, and, of course, the great location in the very center.
During this visit, I noticed some nice little things - a shoe tray in winter, a high-quality hair dryer, a wide range of miniatures in the bathroom.
At first I thought I'd get by with a single room. It turned out to be on the 1st floor - when I rebooked, I was immediately placed not on the 2-3, but on the last one. I left disposable toiletries in the bathroom when I left - they carefully asked me in a message if I had forgotten them, although they were cheap. This approach is very valuable)
Thanks to the team for their high professionalism and comfortable stay! Will definitely come back again.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is rare to feel so welcomed at a hotel but the reception and service we received during our stay was exceptional. The hotel is located within walking distance of The Hermitage and Nevsky Prospect, The Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood and Kazan Cathedral. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. We had an amazing view over the canal towards Palace Square. The restaurant was also very good, welcoming and good value for money.Overall, highly recommended and hope to be back again in the summer months to see St Petersburg in all its summer glory.

We were at Pushka Inn for a week and were amazed at the level of service we received. The staff helped us with storing bags while in Moscow, gave information about Covid testing, printed our PCR test for our convenience, arranged airport transportation, and showed hospitality to our friends who dropped by the hotel. The location of the hotel was very convenient to sites and we hope to stay there again when we visit St. Petersburg.

Lived in a single room. The bed, soundproofing, blackout curtains, toiletries are beyond praise. The lack of a bedside table is compensated by a wide window sill. Comfortable slippers, although they were too small for me. Friendly staff.

Dear Sciebi, Being small hotel we can not afford having reference number in the Foreign Affairs office, which is must in order to issue visa support vouchers, so we use the help of the agency, which charges tourists for the service.
Before you proceed with visa support voucher, please check on the possibility to require free electronic visa for visiting Saint Petersburg and Leningrad region on the web-page of Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry.
If your visit is no longer then 8 days (7 nights) and you are only visiting Saint Petersburg and Leningrad region, if you are citizen of one of the countries qualified for the electronic visa, if you enter the Russian Federation through air, naval, automobile, and pedestrian checkpoints located in the territory of Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region (not train) you may apply for one on-line.
In case you need regular tourist visa, the price of the service depends on the region of your citizenship and may be 1 000, 2 000 or 3 000 rubles per person for an e-mail copy.
There is no possibility to send you links with more information. You may send a request to our e-mail and we'll gladly answer you.
We will be glad to answer your questions if you have ones.
Sincerely, Front office, Pushka INN
