This is not our first time at Alexander House, we really like this hotel. It is small, cozy, very stylishly furnished, the staff are very attentive and hospitable. I travel a lot, I have been to many countries in Europe, Asia, America and Africa. I usually stay at 4-5 stars, I like premium boutique hotels. For me, Alexander House combines everything I love most about traveling: - location is not the most tourist place, so there are no crowds or noise, the quiet beautiful embankment of the Kryukov Canal, you can walk to the “very center” in about 20-25 minutes in good weather, or take a taxi for 8-10 minutes - the hotel itself is small boutique, the rooms are decorated in the style of different countries, without luxury, but very cozy and stylish, perfectly clean everywhere, spacious bathrooms, plenty of shelf space, all accessories are available. - the breakfast is gorgeous, there is everything you want, the choice is huge, and the quality of the food is fresh, someone cooks it as if it were for their own family, it’s very tasty. They even bake fresh pies every morning. The same restaurant at the hotel - we had dinner and lunch there, everything was very tasty. - and finally, the people - hotel and restaurant employees - are very attentive, without intrusiveness, they always try to accommodate a meeting (late check-out, special food for a child, etc.). Many thanks to the manager (and owner) of the hotel, who so carefully select employees and so monitor the quality of all services in the hotel. I’ve been to many good hotels in St. Petersburg, but since I’ve been here, I’ve been considering others only if there’s no room in my favorite Alexander House!

A very atmospheric hotel, intimate, cozy, so to speak - with soul, with exceptionally friendly, friendly staff! You really feel like you are a guest :) Excellent, well-equipped, large standard room with a thematic focus (I had Bali), it was very comfortable to live there. Breakfast is a special delight, both in terms of location, service, and choice of dishes! And dinner on the terrace in the courtyard takes you back in time to small European towns :) Now I won’t have the problem of choosing a place to stay in St. Petersburg, I will be happy to return to the Alexander House Hotel.

We were in St. Petersburg at the beginning of January 2024. We booked this wonderful guest house back in the fall, and didn’t regret our choice for a second. All the details in the living room, in common areas - everything is thought out to the smallest detail, everywhere is clean and homely. Upon arrival, we were treated to delicious signature borscht in a restaurant with a real fireplace, and took a short excursion. introducing you to the house itself and its history. Subsequently, the restaurant helped out a lot - there were serious frosts outside, and on cold evenings it was very pleasant to have a warm meal with the crackling of burning logs in the fireplace. And it seemed that you were not in the city center, but in a cozy house in the Karelian forests. On the second floor there is a small room with a fireplace, where you can dine more privately. In general, we really liked everything. Many thanks to the entire team of this hospitable house for the warmth, comfort and attention that manifests itself in even the smallest details. We will definitely be back!

During my recent three-day stay at Alexander House, I found the staff to be exceptionally helpful, the room to be very comfortable, and the food delicious. I highly recommend this place! Each room is uniquely styled; The hotel’s proximity to the city center allows for easy walking access to numerous local attractions.

This is an amazing place, cozy, warm like a blanket. I've stayed here twice. The first time I made a reservation, I was informed that the room I was eager to stay in was occupied. When I arrived to check in, it turned out that the responsive team did everything possible to put me in the “Venice” room, which I liked so much. The second time I didn’t even have to ask - my wish was remembered and taken into account.
After checking out, I needed to spend some more time waiting, and I spent it working in a large, cozy room with a fireplace that had been lit especially for me.

We rested at the Alexander House Hotel in mid-April, we weren’t very lucky with the weather, but the impressions of the hotel compensated for this, which is worth the fireplace alone, which was lit upon request. Dinner by the fireplace was incomparable, the cuisine was top notch, delicious branded jam and dessert were served with tea (panaccata with coconut milk, simply the most delicate miracle). The cordiality of the staff warmed us throughout the trip, any request was fulfilled immediately, in a word, a cozy, homely atmosphere. We rented a room in Nairobi, I don’t remember such silence for a long time. The windows overlooked a wonderful winter garden, only the singing of birds and the sound of rain, a super comfortable bed, in a word, we were very pleased!

This is not the first time we have vacationed here. The first time was 14 years ago (on our wedding day). Delighted with the holiday, it’s so cozy and homely, where everyone is ready to help, find a solution, and at the same time there is a feeling of privacy even in common spaces. I love dinners by the fireplace on the 2nd floor, thank you for this opportunity and organization.
I always enjoy the beauty of the rooms and the guest house itself. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, very beautiful with amazing taste and the ability to combine different things.
Many thanks for the morning on my birthday. It’s so nice when the hotel staff congratulates you, not just one, but several along the way while I was going to have breakfast. The words of congratulations at breakfast would also be pleasant. It felt like it was from the heart.

It is always a pleasure to stay at Alexander House. For this trip I took the deluxe Helsinki room and was not disappointed with the spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated "Finnish" style. The staff are all exceptionally well trained, friendly and helpful. Since the purpose of my trip was to attend "The White Nights Festival" at the Mariinsky Theatre the location is perfect. This hotel is absolutely first class.

Amazing place. Dark wood, bookshelves, fireplace, internal garden - how can I describe all the details that make up the unique coziness of this space. We lived in Kyoto. Japanese style, very comfortable mattress. Soundproofing, view of the courtyard. Convenience and beauty. I would especially like to mention the staff. Unobtrusiveness, positivity and politeness - ideal! We will definitely come back again.

Sorry, I really can't remember, but the staff at this hotel are so helpful and anxious to please, that I'm sure they'll fix up some sort of black-out arrangement if you need it!
