It is a quiet hotel located 10 minutes walk from the summer garden. Its dark front is relatively austere.
But as soon as you enter the building you feel at home peacefully.
The old building has been fully renovated with taste.
I stayed 4 nights in March and I wish I would have stayed longer.
Everything is perfectly clean and spotless.
The gym/sauna and swimming pool are great too and although it is small there is a cool water jet stream.
Again the common area is so fresh and cleaned.
My room facing the street was nice, clean and with good heating system. Bed was perfect. It was also really well soundproof although the front street is not too noisy.
Bathroom is nice with huge shower.
The choices of TV channels for non russian is limited.
If you pick up these room they recharge daily and fo free the fridge with water and soda and juicepack.
I did not eat at the restaurant which is beautifully located in the atrium in the middle of the hotel.
The terasse is closed too in winter.
They are plenty of restaurants in walking distance too.
Ermitage museum is at 30 minutes walking distance.
You can contact the hotel to pick you up at the airport ranging from 2000 to 4000 depending on car range.
An excellent pick and goodvalue for money.

The Indigo hotel served as our base for 4 days while exploring St. Pet.
Hotel is just great, set in a historic building, with courteous and kind staff.
It's an atrium like hotel, with rooms all around the inner atrium, as well with city views.
Rooms are very spacious, with excellent (one of the best) bedding I've ever had. Nice and spacious bathroom with modern amenities.
Breakfast was just great with plenty to choose from to satisfy even the most spoiled guests, served in the atrium ground floor - very nice decorated.
On the top floor there's a nice "Voda and Vino" bar with spectacular views over the Imperial capital.
The only downside was a pretty small pool. Also, due to Covid you have to prearrange your visit to it, as it's allowed one room per hour.
Considering the location, there's nothing of tourist interest close by, neither there's a metro station close (closest is around 10-15 min walk). But, that issue solves Yandex taxi - just make sure you have the application installed and you're anywhere very quick and very cheap.

We had a wonderful stay at the Indigo Hotel in Saint Petersburg! Very nice atmosphere and great service! Many thanks to all the staff of the Indigo Hotel! We are grateful for your care, attention and excellent service! The hotel staff provided us with everything we needed!
The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean, beautifully decorated! Delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners with a great choice of dishes are offered in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the room as well, a children's menu is offered. There are a minibar, coffee / tea maker for making tea and coffee, and all amenities for a comfortable stay.
We enjoyed the pool and sauna at the hotel. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant with a very beautiful and breathtaking panoramic view of Saint - Petersburg! The Indigo Hotel is located in the historical center of St. Petersburg, next to the Mikhailovsky Garden, the Summer Garden and other famous sights of the city.
The hotel justifies 5 stars! It is ideal for families with children. I highly recommend this hotel! We are thankful to all the hotel staff for the high quality!

The hotel is in a pretty run down part of the city, not much of an issue as you can Yandex anywhere cheaply - but something to bear in mind.
Hotel were very accommodating in letting me check in early - and the staff are all very friendly and want to please.
Room service food was pricey but after a long journey I just wanted to eat in. It arrived stone cold. £16 for cold fries and pasta didn’t seem like a good deal.
The rooms are nice, but it seems most only overlook the lobby. Not a problem I thought, as there is a clear roof so you get lots of natural light. The problem however begins at 7pm when the live music starts in the lobby. And it is LOUD. You can’t relax or watch TV as the noise from outside your window overrules everything.
The hotel were helpful in moving me from the 3rd to 7th floors - but ultimately this was no better as the room still overlooked the lobby and the music continued to reverberate around all the rooms. Their final solution was to offer me earplugs, which should not be required in a hotel.
The following morning the music starts again at 9am, so if you want a lie in then be prepared for a solid wake up call.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and city. We found the hotel to be in a great location and albeit I am in a wheelchair, my husband and I walked/rolled to most sights (even though it was snowing a little).
We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel (especially the omelettes!). We dined at the rooftop restaurant, even though there is stairs to get to it - the staff and my husband were able to get me there - the view and the atmosphere were fantastic as well as the food/drinks (recommend the blankets, even in April/May). Vegetarians are well catered for in the restaurants, and for a meat eater the borscht was divine.
There are steps at the front of the hotel but they have a stair lift for wheelchair users and the concierge service to use it was friendly and attentive.

My father and I recently stayed in this wonderful boutique hotel mid March.
Every detail is thought of right down to the slippers and gown.
We dined most nights in the hotel and every night we were thrilled with our food and the service by all staff. Their knowledge in everything local was outstanding. We were never left wanting for anything.
Every member has the art of customer service down to a tee. With most if not all having a great understanding of English for those that don’t speak Russian. Nothing was too much trouble.
I look forward to visiting again and again.

My wife and I had the opportunity to vacation in the best hotels in the world. We can say with confidence that “Indigo” is in no way inferior to them, and in some ways superior. You won’t find such a soulful and sophisticated atmosphere anywhere! This is truly a high-end boutique hotel! The hotel and rooms are decorated in true St. Petersburg spirit, you are surrounded by an atmosphere of art and culture! The hotel is located very close to the center and attractions, but at the same time on a quiet street. The rooms are comfortable, very comfortable and high-quality bedding, sleep well, excellent cosmetics. A wonderful sightseeing restaurant with quality food and unique confectionery is definitely worth a visit. The spa center with sauna, swimming pool and Thai massages is good for rejuvenating. The breakfasts are simply excellent, you can choose food to suit any preference. The service is also at a high level. You understand that you are loved and expected here. The staff is one of the hotel's main assets. We rested for the May Day holidays, room 309, “Premium”. Thank you for a quality vacation!

Spent a weekend with the Birthday package. Since the date did not match, no one congratulated us, not even with a postcard in the room. The expected number upgrade did not take place. Departure, however, was allowed at 15-00. The staff at all levels is top notch. Standard room with atrium view. Everything is OK - comfortable, quiet, clean and cozy. A nice addition was the minibar with drinks. The bathroom is good with everything you need. I was very pleased with the pillow menu (free of charge). We visited the SPA once. Cold water in the pool (probably so that guests do not linger), and for some reason separate saunas for men and women, which is extremely inconvenient for vacationing couples. The lobby and corridors are beautiful with apples. The buffet breakfast corresponds to the stated price category, that is, excellent. In addition to red fish, freshly squeezed juices and other delicacies, you can order scrambled eggs of various types, if you know about it - for some reason the hotel does not advertise this option. In general, we had a wonderful time at breakfast for about two and a half hours - the atrium is beautiful, as are the guests visiting it. We also visited the panoramic restaurant Vino and Voda. Liked. Snails, shrimp and chicken Kiev. I recommend this hotel. Thank you!!!

Hotel is located on the side of the downtown but near all activities which can be down in the city, allowing to not use car.
The hotel was build recently and has still a flavour of "new hotel"
On the roof you have a good view on SPB.
Rooms are clean, well equipped (Iron+Board+...) with pleasant toiletries.
Good internet to work, and quiet enough to have confcalls.

Hotel from IHG. Have been to Crowne before. We were impressed with the service. This time we decided to try Indigo. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city opposite the Gun Factory. Nearby there are many beautiful cozy streets and almost all restaurants from Dream Team. We took a room with a view of the street... The view is not very good, but it is clearly more comfortable than the view of the atrium, but it is worth noting that if you need a quiet sleep, it is better to take a room not facing the street, since the sound insulation is not ideal. The rooms are cozy and spacious. In the refrigerator there is free water, juices, cola, waffles and something else... Coffee machine... We visited the spa. The sauna is good from Harvia. Saunas are separate for men and women. The pool has a current effect, but the water is not very warm. The perfect thing to cool down after a sauna. We didn’t go to breakfast because we slept for a long time, but at the same time we managed to appreciate the local cuisine in the restaurant on the 2nd floor. Everything was delicious. The hotel is great. Perhaps we will return if there are no other options next time. P.S. Other reviews of St. Petersburg hotels can be found in my review feed :)
