Visited the hotel for training. In general, very much for that money. The location is convenient for my purposes, the room and bathroom got very spacious, the bed is normal. Breakfast is bad. The on-site swimming pool and spa were very helpful for relaxation. I liked the hotel.

The hotel offers a spacious room with excellent bathroom and shower, a relief after long walks around St. Petersburg. A little far from everything but the shuttle from/to the metro station is punctual and convenient.
As almost everything else in St. Pete, staff at the hotel speaks little to no English and making yourself understood is somewhat a challenge. That applies to the reception desk too.
One problem I faced is that in the mornings there was no hot water in the shower and with a cold weather this was a problem for 2 days in a row.
Reception desk employees, mainly girls, are very kind and try to work around the language barrier the best they can.
I recommend the hotel but be aware that language is an issue not only here but around the city too.

If you are in St Petersburg for tourism, do not book this hotel as it is far away from the centre. It is 20-30 mins walk to the nearest metro. But if you are attending a sports event at the nearby arenas (as I was) then location is convenient. Note: never ever book Hotel Arena which is close by - local youth use their parking lot for drifting so sound from revving cars is nonstop every night!
Also in Krestovsky ask for a room facing the woods, not the big sports arena. I had room 173 which was nice and quiet. The arena uses tapes of birds in distress complete with gunshots to repel birds in the evening, and that tape is played on a loop and can be heard too clearly if your room faces that way!
Krestovsky is big, so the walk to your room along corridors can be long, but rooms are spacious and modern enough with a mini fridge (not always working perfectly) and old fashioned hair dryers (bring your own). Bathroom clean and ok.
Breakfast selection was good with eggs, bacon, potatoes, chicken wings (!!), some vegetables and lots of pastries, juice and a selection of coffees.
Staff does not speak English much but sign language always helps :). Bar lounge nice but service very slow.

Just terrible rooms for the money! We paid 20k for 3 nights: there were no slippers, no robe, no refrigerator, no tea/kettle in the room, just nothing. Attention, 3 hangers for two guests! The furniture is all from the USSR, the rooms are not very clean.
I had to stay at this particular hotel only because there was an event taking place there (there was no choice), but of my own free will I would never go to this hotel again.
It so happened that on the day of check-out (check-out before 12:00) I arrived a little later, at 12:30 (the second guest left before 12 o’clock and my things were still in the room, which was warned about at the reception)
As a result, when I entered the room, my things were no longer there! I went to the reception - and they didn’t know what was happening at all.
As a result, only part of the things were returned; I no longer had the desire to find out anything.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

I booked a room 10 days before check-in, indicating that we would have a small dog with us. Reservation confirmation has arrived. The evening before check-in, the manager called and announced that animals were not allowed. At stake is an early morning departure to St. Petersburg for a family with a dog. I understand perfectly well that not all hotels allow pets, but why confirm the reservation? Why did they call only the day before departure? The hotel staff showed an extremely disregardful attitude towards the guests and through their actions created an extremely uncomfortable situation for us. After the conversation, they promised to call back, but they only had the courage and tact to send an SMS with a refusal to check in. The hotel staff made an "invaluable" contribution to shaping the city's tourist image.

+1
A very nice hotel! The friendly staff at the reception, it was madly nice to get a luxury room as a wedding anniversary gift, know how to lighten the mood! The pool is clean, the buffet is delicious - breakfast overlooking the Gasprom Arena is a separate type of pleasure. The hotel is located in a beautiful, sporty area, nearby the chic DivoPark for children, within 15 minutes of the subway through the park. Saunas are clean, new! Have a great rest! Thank you to all staff ❤️

A very decent hotel in the coolest area of St. Petersburg! The dinner buffet was modest, but breakfast pleased! Well done! There's an elevator! Mineral water is here! I didn't need an electric kettle to drink coffee tonight! Generally calm, quiet, comfortable! Big bathroom! The washing supplies were! There were towels! We loved it! We were late for a concert next to the Sibur Arena, the manager helped pay for dinner quickly through his terminal! Very grateful to him! Good luck and prosperity to your hotel!

Outraged. I lived this time (not the first) for 7 days. On the second day (and it’s October) the batteries became cold. “We decide, now we’ll bring a heater.” After 2 reminders they brought a microstove, which failed to cope after 2 hours of operation at maximum speed. She asked to be moved. By sending another number. I arrive, and there is a wide open window (in the rain, wind and bad weather. Just the thing for a frozen person. They moved me again. I lived for another 3 days and today the radiators are ice cold again. “We’re deciding.” Yeah, I’m asking for 2 heaters, taught by past experience. Remind I had to do it twice again, no one in the hotel is in a hurry, neither the maids, nor the kitchen, nor the reception. After half an hour (of course, it didn’t get any warmer during this time), they took away the second heater, and when I asked whether, having been fined twice, I should bring it in as a replacement. apologizing a bottle of wine to a guest, for example, they laughed in my face. If this had happened in Syzran or Lyskovo... but the hotel is located in the most beautiful and expensive district of St. Petersburg.

We specifically chose a hotel on Krestovsky Island. Quiet, the Comfort room is large and well equipped, next to an old park with squirrels. Breakfast is up to par, large swimming pool for those interested. We especially note the participation and professionalism of the administrator Svyatoslava.

Hi! It is a 20 minute walk to the metro station, so it is a bit far. You have to take the metro to the Eremitage - or taxi :)
