I stayed here with my wife in Aug'18. Good budget hotel. About 20 mins walk from Lomonosovskaya metro station. Finding exact location might be tricky. Its across the public garden (open space). You have to cross the small traffic signal (i.e. straight ahead of bldng no. 7 which comes to your left). And then take 1st left. You will see it on your right side after 2 bldngs. Reception & staff can speak eng & are friendly. Room is kind of studio size with sink in the bed-room corner itself. Small size toilet in the room (but no jet spray - for non-western country travelers kind of tricky). They have a common bathroom area downstairs. When we were there temp were about 12 degrees outside, but no warm water in the bathroom (a bit of disappointing). The location is quite secluded & in residential area. Right in front is a common public garden. No eating out places nearby (only few stores). Good if you are tight on budget. Overall specific to St. Petersburg as a city, it's beautiful. Do keep 2 full days to see it. We were there for 1 & 1/2 days (felt not enough). And of course do walk in St. Petersburg & explore instead of normal metro travel.…
A good budget hotel, located around a 10 min walk from a metro station. 15 mins by metro to the main tourist areas. A few restaurants are located just outside the hotel, as well as a grocery store. Clean and affordable
This hotel is really good for budget travellers. It is about a five minute walk from the metro that brings you quickly into town. From the outside the building looks like any other in the area, but the inside is really nice. The rooms have their own toilets but separate showers and the showers are fantastic - great water pressure and warm! The hotel staff are all really nice and despite their lack of English skills managed to communicate easily with me. They were very helpful and gave me an abundance of toiletries, which made my stay great. They were always happy and smiling!
I chose the place for the price as well as availability of rooms for three (travelled with my friend and her kid). Our room was modestly furnished but very clean, and had all we needed (i.e. comfortable beds, a fridge, a sink, and a WC; these types of rooms are the cheapest ones, and have no showers, so we used the shared facilities on the first floor, which were also very clean and had very hot water). Breakfasts were included in the price, and they had something new every day (something hot, like pancakes or chicken breast, then some sandwiches, and cookies to go with tea or coffee); we stayed for 3 nights, and had to leave at 6 am, so they prepared our breakfast in advance and put it into the fridge upon our request. We really felt that all staff members care about their guests - they will wait for you when you come back at 3 am to buzz you in, and will check you out at early morning. They should be located close to Lomonosovskaya subway station, but I had a rental car, and it took me around 20 minutes to drive from there to Moscovsky railway station in the morning (no traffic but some construction work on the riverside) and about 35-40 minutes during evening rush hour to find them when arriving. No problem with parking, one can always find a place on the street even if the lot in front of their entrance is full. The area is quiet and safe. There's a 24/7 convenience store right next to them. Definitely a value for money, will surely stay again.…
Hotel has nothing spacial. What you get for your money is a room, a bad and a shower. And it was just enough for us because we came to the hotel just to sleep at night. The food is not so good, can be considered just for the breakfast. It is an ideal hotel if you plan a trip to St.Petersburg and do not want to give much money for the accommodation. By the way, walking to the nearest metro through the very beautiful streets of Petersburg takes apprx 10 min.
