Wonderful hotel, excellent breakfasts (oatmeal, pancakes, casserole, fresh vegetables, salads, eggs, cutlets, side dish with vegetables, coffee machine, tea). The deluxe room is very large, two-room, comfortable beds, a compliment of champagne and tangerines for the New Year, very nice, in the bathroom there are toothbrushes, paste, gels, shampoos, slippers, bathrobes, refrigerator, 2 TVs, . Water in the room is replenished every day. There was construction going on outside, but since it was New Year's holidays, it was quiet.

A good option for a holiday in St. Petersburg. The location of the hotel is good, there are a number of attractions nearby. Hotel rooms are clean and bright. Everything you need to live comfortably. Plus a big bathroom. The staff is attentive and available to help with any questions. Breakfasts are relatively delicious and quite varied. The result is good value for money, excellent location and pleasant atmosphere. We recommend it.

Hotel located neibourghood SPB near Neva river some 3 kilometer from city center and some 1 kilometer from Finland raiwaystation.Nice beautifull old fashion building.Rooms ok...little missing king bed ..ounly available in more expensive rooms.restaurant quite ok and working very late..food average but ok too.breakfast nothing special but igot what i needed.

The hotel's location attracted me to try is as a candidate for regular trips to our company office nearby.
Despite the property being relatively new, apparently opened some five years ago, I doubt we will start using it on regular basis. Reasons include the surroundings in a mostly industrial area with very limited service offering (the metro station nearby luckily allows to get to more civilized areas), clearly insufficient breakfast area for the 40+ rooms. The rooms have the basics, including a bit too complicated shower system that in my room had suffered in unexperienced hands.
On the other hand, if one needs to stay overnight at a reasonable price, this may be a tolerable option.

The hotel is located far from everywhere and you will need to take a taxi which will take some 20 minutes to get to the city center with normal conditions but longer if the bridge are closed. Alternatively you can take the underground, located some 10 minutes walking from the hotel, but it will take you longer. The rooms are very small, without aircondition and with old furniture. Breakfast is very basic in a big room with some tables scattered around. The staff of the reception does it best to help, is in general helpful and speaks English.

I stayed here for 5 days this summer. Very good, not noisy and convenient location close to the city center. The hotel itself surprised me with it's amazing English style interior and very clean stylish room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The more nights I spent in the hotel, the more I began to appreciate the service. Breakfast was very god and tasty, did't try dinner though so can't say anything. I would recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travelers.

Great stay at the hotel. The staff was really helpful. Food was excellent. There is breakfast available till 11 am. The restaurant is open till 10 pm, there is room service as well. The prices were quite good. Metro station is 15 min walk & is quite convenient. There is a nice park on the way to the metro station. A good supermarket is near to the hotel which is open till 11 pm.

Overall Lancaster Hotel is a pleasant hotel which at first seems far from the Saint Petersburg centre but really is very close to all important places to see. The hotel is nice and simple but clean and wel cared for. The restaurant area is good but basic. Overall the people in the restaurant were terrific and the people in reception were mostly nice and helpful. Certainly a place that is right at price/ quality

Location is convenient and rooms are good enough. But I wouldn't recommend small room even if you travel alone. Nice breakfast. Please don't hesitate to ask for omelette or fried eggs, or go for milk porridge if the choice of food is not enough.
