This was my fourth time in this hotel, but probably the last. It is no brainer that the location is very good and strategic for prople moving around in Moscow and having to leave the city too. The area is surrounded by consulates and embassies, therefore very safe to walk around. Also, pretty close to restaurants and shopping area in...

I enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are clean and modern looking. The hotel is located towards the Arbat shopping district and going to Red Square will take a 30 minute walk or a short taxi drive. The breakfast buffet is good and there is free internet.

The location is brilliant! The hotel is ok, with the only downside- there were building works in the hotel when we stayed, so it was noisy. The food was very good, especially dinners- very traditional and tasty. Some mornings, you could notice that the breakfast was a stress for the staff and it was difficult to cope with the pressure....

This hotel is really charming. It has lots of features that make it a very atmospheric hotel. The cafe/restaurant has a good menu and the food was good. Breakfast is average but I was never really impressed with any Russian breakfast. The location is good but it is on a quiet street and not in the centre of things or...

Stayed 5 nights, enjoyed it very much. Great location walking distance to all major attractions as well as restaurants public transportation etc. Rooms are basic but very comfortable and very clean. Staff very helpful in all we needed. Breakfast simple but good variety and very tasty. All that for pretty good price. Recommended whole heartedly

I stayed at this hotel for a few nights in August this year (2015). I like the central location of a place,..., couple of minutes away from Arbatskaya metro station. My room was pretty good with comfortable bed and a bathroom with the tub. Rooms a re generally clean and stuff is pretty helpful. Breakfast offers a good selection of...

The beds were full of springs that stuck into our back. Very small rooms. Breakfast not too bad. No jug for hot water. Noisy Russians banging doors and talking loudly after midnight. Would never stay there again! Part of a tour group

This is a very good choice for hotel. Walking distance from Red Square, clean, good breakfast, nice decoration on ground level and staff spoke good English. Rooms have air condition. Downside is a little bit threadbare decoration in rooms but they are still clean and functional.

Staying in Arbat

Neighbourhood Profile
Arbat
Crowds of tourists, both local and international take in Old Arbat and its modern and gigantic peer – New Arbat. One reason visitors keep coming is no doubt Konstantin Melnikov’s famous private house, now open to the public and worthy of a visit. After exploring one of the oldest parts of Moscow, avoid the crowds and turn to the side streets and boulevards where calmness and affordable food is plentiful.
