The bed was comfortable and large enough, with great new bedlinen, the tiny fridge accommodated the snacks and cream that we bought at a nearby supermarket, and our neighbours seemed decent people incapable of making noise. The only annoyance was the absence of a tea kettle in the room which meant trips to the communal heater rather a long way away but thankfully on the same floor. We also hated the tiny bedside tables although I guess they come with tiny rooms. Our room was clean and free of odours.
Breakfast coffee is to be commended, and we were especially grateful to the hotel staff for extending our stay a couple of hours without pay.
The hotel cushions are very tight and stiff! Guests with back/neck problems are at risk of poor sleep and headaches in the morning.
I didn't take breakfast, but the breakfast area is pretty.
-lobby area is quite attractive and has facilities for short meetings/negotiations
-without going outside you can get to the nearby Mercury Hotel, with a more respectable lobby and bar/restaurant
-subway in 5-10 minutes walk, which is very convenient
In general, the hotel left a positive impression with the exception of the unsatisfactory performance of the hotel's reception staff and bar. If you are not a member of this network's bonus program and do not have status in it, and you do not have neck/back problems-recommend staying
The hotel has a nice modern design, the room is clean, the bed and blanket were magical. Otherwise, it is simple and without frills.
The only thing I didn’t really like was that there is no kettle in the room and you have to go and get water in the corridor to the cooler, which is located on the floor near the elevator. Not a long way to go if you just want to make some tea for yourself.
Room was with the window but window faced the old wall 1miter way, bed sheets had someones black hair on it.
Don't be surprised, if on the breakfast you will see hotel staff trying to squeeze you, to get coffee first from the machine. I guess they (hotel staff) have a tradition to have breakfast all together with the guests. Looks like they usually getting the biggest table and dine together. But some are getting late for the breakfast fest, so in rush to catch up with colleagues they will never mind to push you aside, from the coffee mashine.
What a lay back hotel managment. Looks like it's a dream job for employees but if you pay money for the room --- surprise waiting for you!
The only good about this hotel is location, no doubts.
At 10 o'clock in the morning, the door just opens - what? The door opens and - cleaning... What cleaning?
I thought you'd already left)))
The best answer of the century 👍
I got Shock.
You probably don't have a base, who left, who stopped by 🤔
Well, judging by the manager of course, with whom I had the privilege of speaking after reading on the phone, then it is clear why such a service!!!
The fish, as they say from the head spoils...
How good, divided the hotels, each hotel decides for itself what performs according to the loyalty program and what does not.
Yesterday, so I was told, not all your privileges apply here, everything is at the discretion of the hotel, in others yes, on Kiev Ibis, yes - implements, and we are not here!!!
The Queen is always right...
It's a shame we fell like this on all fronts.
Nightmare is not the word...
try to accommodate all accommodation preferences. Delicious and varied breakfasts.
Denied check-in, since the duty manager seemed to make up her own migration laws.
Finally accepted to check-in after a full hour of hassle. Really bad. And the next day power outage for hours on end. The evacuation stairs are without emergency light, which is very unsafe & supposedly a breach of the law.
What is good about this hotel, on the other hand, is the prompt "letter of invitaion" service (for the visa application) and the fact that the staff obviously had done their best to fulfill my special room requests prior to my arrival. I also liked the wonderfully cozy neighborhood (where you see more locals than tourists) as well as the safe-deposit box and the mini fridge, room amenities I'm usually not accustomed to to when staying in other Ibis hotels.
