The hotel is conveniently located near a major metro station Paveletskaya and just a block away from a tram stop on the line running to the city centre. We had a standard room which felt smallish, but the shower+toilet was spacious and well-lit, so there was no claustrophobic impression at all.

The bed was comfortable and large enough, with great new bedlinen, the tiny fridge accommodated the snacks and cream that we bought at a nearby supermarket, and our neighbours seemed decent people incapable of making noise. The only annoyance was the absence of a tea kettle in the room which meant trips to the communal heater rather a long way away but thankfully on the same floor. We also hated the tiny bedside tables although I guess they come with tiny rooms. Our room was clean and free of odours.

Breakfast coffee is to be commended, and we were especially grateful to the hotel staff for extending our stay a couple of hours without pay.

Nice hotel. Comfortable location. There are Superior rooms with more space and included travel attachments. This is the first Ibis in my travel history in which, as a Gold status holder at hotel chain All Accor, I was not brought a compliment to my room. What's more, when I approached the front desk, the staff member informed me that a compliment is only supposed to happen on a guest's birthday! That's ridiculous. Further on regarding the free drink certificate due to the holders of the highest status chain. Again, this is the first All Accor hotel to have a 0.2 caruccino, not a 0.3 caruccino, on the bar! This is even though I could exchange my certificate for an alcoholic beverage (beer or wine), which is obviously considerably more expensive than coffee.
The hotel cushions are very tight and stiff! Guests with back/neck problems are at risk of poor sleep and headaches in the morning.
I didn't take breakfast, but the breakfast area is pretty.
-lobby area is quite attractive and has facilities for short meetings/negotiations
-without going outside you can get to the nearby Mercury Hotel, with a more respectable lobby and bar/restaurant
-subway in 5-10 minutes walk, which is very convenient
In general, the hotel left a positive impression with the exception of the unsatisfactory performance of the hotel's reception staff and bar. If you are not a member of this network's bonus program and do not have status in it, and you do not have neck/back problems-recommend staying

The hotel’s location is very convenient: Novokuznetskaya and Tretyakovskaya are nearby, and if you go in the other direction, Paveletskaya is nearby. Therefore, if you are coming from Domodedovo, I highly recommend it. The area itself is very quiet and calm, there are cafes and supermarkets, but there are no crowds of inappropriate and drunk people, as is usually the case in the center.
The hotel has a nice modern design, the room is clean, the bed and blanket were magical. Otherwise, it is simple and without frills.
The only thing I didn’t really like was that there is no kettle in the room and you have to go and get water in the corridor to the cooler, which is located on the floor near the elevator. Not a long way to go if you just want to make some tea for yourself.

Reception was empty, when i entered the hotel. Had to look for someone. My booking was confirmed and payed but hotel staff could not find it for 3 hours. Advised me to go for a walk, and come back at 8 pm. The worst reception staff.
Room was with the window but window faced the old wall 1miter way, bed sheets had someones black hair on it.
Don't be surprised, if on the breakfast you will see hotel staff trying to squeeze you, to get coffee first from the machine. I guess they (hotel staff) have a tradition to have breakfast all together with the guests. Looks like they usually getting the biggest table and dine together. But some are getting late for the breakfast fest, so in rush to catch up with colleagues they will never mind to push you aside, from the coffee mashine.
What a lay back hotel managment. Looks like it's a dream job for employees but if you pay money for the room --- surprise waiting for you!
The only good about this hotel is location, no doubts.

Even though the hotel itself is quite modest, we really enjoyed it! The location is comfortable, the rooms are modern and cozy. Since we were staying in a higher category room, the price included a visit to the sauna, which turned out to be a nice bonus for us.) Special thanks to the guys at the reception who packed lunch boxes for us due to early departure.

Horrible, the first time I've ever encountered such a service...
At 10 o'clock in the morning, the door just opens - what? The door opens and - cleaning... What cleaning?
I thought you'd already left)))
The best answer of the century 👍
I got Shock.
You probably don't have a base, who left, who stopped by 🤔
Well, judging by the manager of course, with whom I had the privilege of speaking after reading on the phone, then it is clear why such a service!!!
The fish, as they say from the head spoils...
How good, divided the hotels, each hotel decides for itself what performs according to the loyalty program and what does not.
Yesterday, so I was told, not all your privileges apply here, everything is at the discretion of the hotel, in others yes, on Kiev Ibis, yes - implements, and we are not here!!!
The Queen is always right...
It's a shame we fell like this on all fronts.
Nightmare is not the word...

Business trip.
Denied check-in, since the duty manager seemed to make up her own migration laws.
Finally accepted to check-in after a full hour of hassle. Really bad. And the next day power outage for hours on end. The evacuation stairs are without emergency light, which is very unsafe & supposedly a breach of the law.

Dear andyA8076QL, First of all let me thank you for your feedback. Comments like this allow us to evaluate our services and facilities in order to strive for the highest standards expected. We are sorry you had such uncomfortable issues during your last visit but I shall note that my colleague's actions were justified within the framework of Russian legislation. We follow all the rules of the migration policy with special seriousness, and sometimes we need more time to consider individual cases. Indeed, in connection with the accident at the city power plant, the hotel's electricity and water supply were cut off. However, we can assure you that the entire hotel team was maximally involved in eliminating the consequences, as well as in building communication with guests, providing all the necessary assistance to them in navigation and all emerging issues, making every effort to restore the hotel's activities as quickly as possible, with full understanding and attention to the difficult situation of each guest. The hotel team is sincerely worried about the incident, and very much hopes for your understanding in connection with the extreme situation as well as for your return. With sincere concern for you, Alan Galiakberov, Guest Service & Project Manager

I'm an Accor Club member and have stayed in many Ibis hotels all over Europe (including former Soviet states). In my experience, Ibis hotels always guarantee a good value room with a powerful, individually controlled air conditioner. At Ibis Moscow Centre Bakhrushina, however, the room air conditioner is centrally set to heating mode (even in the middle of summer) if the weather outside happens to be rainy and cloudy or as the receptionist told me: "when it's cold in the street, the air conditioner is automatically warm and when it's warm in the street, the air conditioner is automatically cold". So because of said air conditioner settings, which guests have no control over, I had to stay for a week (June 27 to July 4) in a room which was too warm for my liking. To cool it down a bit, I slept with the window (partly) open, but that also meant using ear plugs during the night in order to shut out the street noise. I wish these air conditioner restrictions had been mentioned on the hotel's website because if I had known, I would have booked my accommodation somewhere else.

What is good about this hotel, on the other hand, is the prompt "letter of invitaion" service (for the visa application) and the fact that the staff obviously had done their best to fulfill my special room requests prior to my arrival. I also liked the wonderfully cozy neighborhood (where you see more locals than tourists) as well as the safe-deposit box and the mini fridge, room amenities I'm usually not accustomed to to when staying in other Ibis hotels.

Dear J_Husberg, Thank you for your detailed review and comments! We value every note and investigate any problems occurred. This helps us to improve our performance where relevant. Regarding our A/C I can comment the following. On the 27th of June outside temperature dropped to 14С during daytime and even lower during nights. Therefore we decided to turn the heating mode on following our experience - most guests ask for it when it gets so chill. And indeed if we switch to heating mode we cant use cooling any more. My apologies that you felt uncomfortable. I checked all the days of your stay, and only one day, 01/07, was above 20 - may be this very day you were too warm. And thank you for praising our location, in-room facilities and work of personnel. I hope this could compensate the in-room temperature:) Kind regards, Alexandra Stryukova General Manager
