Our room was ok. It did smell a little, cause of some guest feet and BO, but leaving the window open during the day helps a lot. Also the policy is to walk without shoes, so the smell of worn shoes strikes you right at the start. Having said that, the hostel is very well located, right at the beginning...

We reserved places for 22 students (two months in advance). So they knew we were comming! When we arrived, the staff started to complain about 'so many people'. They should be happy we filled the hostel!! The staff wasn't helpfull at all and gave us the idea we were really unwanted. After this (not so) warm welcome, we had to...

Not something that really disturb me but the bed below mine wasn't occupied by anyone and since I arrived till i left (3 nights), bedsheets used by a previous guest has been left there. One last thing is that if the hostel declared that guests must chease to make noise by midnight then the hostel, in my opinion, should verify...

We went to Moscow for 4 days and we stayed on this hostel. It looks nice with great location, in the old town in Arbat street. The point is that if you look for a quiet hostel this is yours, but our target was to be in a hostel that at least you could drink beer inside, but it is...

Great place to stay out! Very comfortable rooms and great location. I especially liked the service that was provided. The beautiful girl with short spiky black hair was amazing at helping me book my train ticket to Saint Petersburg. I hope to return to this hostel and be greeted with equal attention. Looking forward to returning again! BIG THANKS!

This hostel has a lot to offer. There is a communal kitchen complete with an oven, a couple stoves, fridges, microwaves, cutlery, and sinks. There is also a nice sitting area with a tv. On the floor my dorm was on (one above the kitchen) there is another communal area with bean bag chairs which had another tv hooked up...

I had to stay here after a mistake I did when reserving Vinegret hostel (way better hostel). The recepcionist is very unwelcoming. She is not helpful at all and seem to not want to be working there. There is no security for the big luggage left at the hostel and the sheets and furniture are not very new. Cleaning lady...

It's nicely located in a nice and quiet back street of Arbat in central Moscow. The only problem is the first thing you face: the lift. The hostel is on the fourth floor and the lift is just for guests with luggage. In other times, you can't use it. But the room was very clean; we were two people and...

Staying in Arbat

Neighbourhood Profile
Crowds of tourists, both local and international take in Old Arbat and its modern and gigantic peer – New Arbat. One reason visitors keep coming is no doubt Konstantin Melnikov’s famous private house, now open to the public and worthy of a visit. After exploring one of the oldest parts of Moscow, avoid the crowds and turn to the side streets and boulevards where calmness and affordable food is plentiful.
