I just spent three nights at Chillax and the people who worked there were really nice. However, I came to meet international travelers and I didn't get to experience that. The hostel is full is other Russians who are either working in Moscow temporarily for a couple of months, or are trying to find full accommodation. Either way, they are...

I first took the 14bed dormroom and that was a big mistake. There is no space between the bed (you sleep with the feets of your nabor on your head, and you share yours to the next one, etc). The place is packed with 50% of weido people who have nothing else to do than watching TV very loud, open...

I stayed at the place recently and have to say it is a great place. First of all its location is just in the centre of Moscow. Closest underground is 4 minutes away. Then there are two shops nearby one of which works 24x7. Nice clean bedsheets that are regularly changed. VERY helpful staff! Girls thank you so much!))) You...

Booked a female 6 bed dorm on the basis of good reviews on another website so was very worried when I saw the last few reviews on Trip Advisor. I didn't stay in the mixed dorms so my experience may be different to others but I was very pleasantly surprised. First of all the hostel is really hard to find...

I booked a bed in a dorm of 10 and my friend and I stayed for 4 nights there. During our stay we didn't get much help from the desk. The main problem is the security of the hostel, and it has to do with the philosophy of the hostel. I have the feeling that they will take anyone from...

Hostel is very bad, dirty bathrooms, small untidy kitchen, seems to involve a nasty Russian men who loiter on and make you feel very uncomfortable. I did not stay long! not very good if you don't speak Russian

Do not stay here, the place is run by a little bully with a beard, the staff hate him and the guests hate him; he posts his own reviews celebrating his own hostel, which in truth is cramped with disgusting bathrooms a communal kitchen which the Russian guests view as a free supermarket.

Cramped rooms, food constantly being stolen from the fridges, see-through slats on the bathroom stalls, broken elevator, permanently clogged sinks, no where comfortable to sit, grubby beanbags on the floor, bunk beds crammed end to end, a huge screen tv playing video games at full volume outside the dorms, no wall between the common area's blasting loud tv and the...

I really enjoyed staying here! There were a lot of fun travelers, and the staff is great! The facilities are really good too - awesome, futuristic showers, great kitchen - we had a cooking night when I was there.... sooo tasty :) I will definitely recommend it to all my friends!!!

All things considered, I was very glad I stayed at the Chillax Hostel. The location was great (we could walk to the Kremlin), and the staff were very friendly, although they did not discourage us from going to possibly the worst club in Moscow, Gogol. I also thought the beds were quite comfortable, and were even long enough for my...
