Quiet relaxing hotel in the city center . All is calm and dignified. Normal value for the money. It can be recommended as a business hotel with good location and welcoming atmosphere. Everything good.

If you are looking to explore Moscow from a superb location, if your room standards are basic, if you really only need a bed and a shower, this is the hotel for you. In truth, the rooms are shabby at best. The carpets are dirty, the edges of the shower are stained and the walls are grubby. In my friend's...

It's just not worth it to spend time writing about this place. Except of the good location everything else was very bad. The rooms are tiny and dusty, the food is not fresh, there are three floors with no elevator and the service are terrible. Don't go there!

It's a great location, a place with high potential but that's it. Need a total renovation and upgrade service. Now hardly a 2 star. The breakfast is just terrible. Was inexistent (really bad) Service very low. They are other options in the area. I loved it once upon a time. Please, try to make it better.

East West was from beginning to end a complete disappointment. I can only assume that whoever awarded it the 4 stars it advertises on its website must have been paid a lot of money, or didn’t stay at the hotel at all. The staff were rude and unhelpful and the entire hotel was shabby and dirty. Despite having booked a...

This hotel has a nice courtyard with fountains, a good location and lovely chandeliers in the hallways. Unfortunately the lovely fountains breed mosquitos and resulted in about 30 bites for my husband. There is heavy traffic noise most of the night. Some of the staff was nice and helpful but others were unwelcoming. The mattresses were old as were the...

This small boutique-style hotel was formerly the house of the mayor of Moscow. It retaims much house-like charm, including the wild colored-glass Italian chandeliers in the rooms and bathrooms. The small cafe serves a good European-style breakfast. Safe neighborhood a few blocks from Tverskaya and walking distance to many sites including GUM and Red Square. Staff was helpful to Russian...

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighbourhood Profile
Tverskaya
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
