Close to lots of eating places and Red Square. Average rooms and bath with plenty of space. Our room faces the street and has some noise. Our friend in on the 6th floor with no windows and only a skylight. Take the slight street noise that goes to zero in the late night - it is not a problem. They...

This hotel is 7 minutes away from Kremlin. I did not have to take any form of transportaion to visit any sights. All is walking distance. Therefore llocation is great. The rooms are great, very clean and have everything you need. Breakfast is included and is also very good. Do not expect amenities. That is why the hotel has reasonable...

The hotel is spotless clean, with good size rooms. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Good quality continental breakfast. Fantastic location, next to the Kremlin, Red Square and two subway stations. It is a pricey hotel, but with the best cost/benefit ratio in this very central area: Hotels are very expensive in Moscow. Will definitely be back.

We stayed here 3 nights, in connection with a tour by Travel All Russia, and were very pleased. The location is fantastic, just 5-10 minute walk to the Kremlin and directly across the street from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music (and its performance halls). About a 15 minute walk to the Bolshoi Theater. There is a market and several...

Don't be misled by the basic outer facade of the building. The inside (both common areas and rooms) is modern and spoless clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic ... a 5-10 minute walk to all of the main tourist attractions and Metro Stations also within 5 minute walk. There is no restaurant so breakfasts are...

The map on the hotel site is incorrect, it's even closer to the Kremlin than indicated. Clean with well insulated and modern rooms. Breakfast is standard continental and provided free with room service. Staff is helpful.

The hotel is in a great location, easy walk to a number of metro stations, Red Square and the Kremlin are very close, as is a good supermarket in the underground subway. There is a coffee shop across the road and it is a nice area to walk around. The room was large, very comfortable, with a small flat screen...

We choosed the hotel because it's location. Location is perfect! Less than 5 min and you are near Kremlin and Red Square, pushkin museum and Bolshoj teatre is in 10 min walk, all is near (Theatres, avenues, churches..... ) And Bolshaya Nikitskaya is very pretty street. It is in the heart of old Moscow. But location is not the only...

Really loved this hotel. Location was excellent - very close to Red Square, Bolshoi etc. in really nice area. Supermarkets/restaurants nearby. Staff were excellent, very helpful and with good English. Spotlessly clean, lovely L'Occitane toiletries, beds/towels changed every day. We had an apartment for 3 of us so we had a bedroom with a super king bed, large ensuite, sitting...

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighbourhood Profile
Tverskaya
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
