The location is not St. Pierre and Miquelon, off the coast of Newfoundland! We booked this hotel and when we arrived in St. Pierre and Miquelon, it did not exist. We spoke with several locals, and they heard this about Hotel Cap Sud several times!!The hotel would not refund the 3 rooms. Big Scam if you ask me!!
This hotel isn't great to look at but is clean and in a great location. Our shower was broken which was annoying and you need to ask for the internet code. There is a safe in the room and air conditioning. On the whole not a bad place to stay for the price.
great, clean and well located close to the airport with some good local restaurants and the weekend saturday market is in walking distance, as is the sea front. the guy managing it was helpful and you can pay extra to have breakfast downstairs.
As a side business, this hotel has started a cockroach farm in the bathrooms. Especially active at night, the insects scramble as soon as the light is turned on. I also found a small lizard in the shower. Joke aside, the shower is made in such a way that it is impossible not to drown the whole tiny bathroom in water that has no way to evacuate. Weird design. The bed made lots of noise, it seemed like it had a think plastic sheet. Not very comfortable. But hey this is a mid range hotel, 150 meters from the beach, what do you expect?
