I visited the Aurora Inn for a friend's wedding ceremony and reception. The Halibut dinner blew me away almost as much as the gorgeous lakeside view. The historic Inn itself looked majestic set directly next to Cayuga lake. I hope to come back one day...More

Is not really far from Aurora to Ithaca where Cornell is situated...approximately 26 miles; it would take you by car between 35-40 minutes....beatiful drive.....

It's right at the back of the hotel. Say a 1 minute walk. I'm sure its fine to swim, but you'd need to ask the hotel. It's a large lake.
