This lovely superclean hostel 20 minutes taxi ride from the port is run by young staff with an ecological mindset. Simple food is beautifully and individually prepared just near an outside ecogarden with koi fish. Great internet. This staff really cares.

Perfect for our overnight stop in Cebu en route to Siargao Island as the rooms are clean and comfy, the cafe is good value and the garden is peaceful. There are lots of bars and restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk so it's easy to get around especially when you don't have much time. Staff are friendly and... More

We stayed here for three nights and found the place to have a very unique atmosphere. WiFi was spotty and we had a problem with malware popping up while were using it. Loved the little garden in the back (although I would recommend bug repellent if you plan on spending extended time out there). The in-house food was great (with... More

Place is modest, quiet near and convenient for restaurant , cafes , pharmacy etc. We respect the policy of no food & drinks allowed but they should offer at least thermos for tea or coffee inside the room especially for longer stay. Also their food takes hour to be prepared so order in advance. WiFi service is really bad ,surprisingly... More

I stayed here one night with a friend, everything was immaculately clean and the staff are very helpful. Air-con & hot water were a nice surprise. There is a ping pong table and lots of interesting items on display in foyer much like "a mini museum" dating back from 1940's & a lovely garden. The 100% free wifi didn't work... More

Stayed here for several nights to avoid dust stirred up by renovations at our house. Rooms are Spartan and no nonsense. Staff is friendly and courteous. This is an eco friendly permaculture inspired hotel and they don't hide that from guests. They have a nice "jungle garden" area, no aircon in the lobby and restaurant (in keeping with leaving a... Upon the recommendation of a high school friend, we tried the Mayflower Pension for an overnight stay on June 2, 2016 en route to Dumaguete the following day. The accommodation and the hotel structure itself was mediocre, but that was perhaps in keeping with its lower rate, although for a few more pesos I know of other hotels in Cebu... More

We used the Mayflower twice as a stopover point before flights/ferries. The hotel is secure and has an ethical and eco friendly ethos which is great. The room themselves were very basic and not particularly inviting but as we were just using this as a place to sleep that wasn't particularly a problem. On our second stay there were ants... More

I liked how polite the staff were. They provide really good service and yet they don't ask for tips. They just asked that we enjoy our stay and, if possible, give a good review. I love how the hotel was "heritage and permaculture inspired". There was a small 'museum', a beautiful garden and BOOKS! Too bad I didn't have time... More

I went to Cebu for one night. I wanted to stay near the capitol and i found this hotel. The room are quite cheap for the quality: 850 php. And i was really well surprise by the eco-friendly approach they want to instal. They participate to many eco/environnement projects. The room was really clean and nice, with aircon and wifi....
