The rooms are clean and very nice. Staffs are also helpful and it seems like they are happy doing their job. Sir Noel Medina is one of them!Very proactive indeed and doing a great job! Keep up the good work!
Great location -- so near Terminal 3. Lots of transportation choices (some free) also if you want to get around Newport City. Breakfast buffet was fairly good with a lot of choices. Staff service was good with all of them touching their hearts when they greet you.
I am very positive about the hotel SAVOY. the rooms are very clean and very luxurious. Also the food breakfast, lunch and dinner is amazing good. as far as the staff is concerned I can say that they are very professional and also very friendly. our smallest sailor stole the hearts of all staff here. we actually felt a bit at home there :) we thank you for the good care and we will definitely come back.
More than the facility and amenities of the hotel. I have to give big credits to the amazing staff at the Savoy. Mr. Mosh and Alexis at the Reception - wonderful and accommodating. They also acknowledge regular guest and recognize them even when wearing a mask. Allen of Concierge - incredibly helpful, prompt and easily anticipates guest needs. Savoy staff is the pride of this property. Kudos to all!
I stayed here one night while transiting through Manila. The room was clean, but the hallways had a slightly "off" odor. I wouldn't recommend upgrading to a corner room because the windows look directly into the other hotel rooms, so we couldn't comfortably open the windows. The breakfast buffet was THE BEST I experienced in the Philippines! It had a huge variety and everything was delicious. The concierges Harvey and Allene helped us book a very cheap Grab to the airport instead of making us arrange a private transport. FYI - the airport terminal that it is directly across from is not the international terminal. I was mistaken when I booked it. Instead, it is about a 15-25 minute drive (depending on traffic) to the international terminal.
My fiance and I ended up spending most of our vacation days (almost 1 month) at Savoy. Excellent service, all kind and helpful staff, best breakfast, also loved their sinigang, bulalo, and beef salpicao.
Positives: Great staff, good food and cleanliness. good gym too. Negatives: Small rooms, tiny bathrooms. Very noisy on 11th floor from machinery on the roof I think. The stay was made ok by the quality of the staff always trying to be helpful.
Pros: Location, Kind staff, Good breakfast selection. Cons: Not all rooms have a good view, information in the QR codes are not updated. Staff at Savoy are pleasing and accommodating - in spite of the guest traffic they are able to give appropriate attention to arriving and departing guests. This was also true for staff at Savoy Cafe. Love that there was access to the inner side of Newport through another door - but this was closed in the evening. I would recommend indicating on the booking platforms or websites that not all rooms have an airport view. I can be claustrophobic and expected an airport view as seen in the photos online only to get a room with a full-on building view. Since rooms are also small this was a problem for me. This was also the reason why for my next trip, I chose to book at Belmont instead. Safety protocols were in place but QR code information was not updated - had to call Front Desk multiple times to verify the information. Staff service is definitely a highlight. I'd go back for that, the breakfast, location - and if assured with a proper view.…
Staff was so nice and all the services was good too. They always greet you while going in and out of hotel and always ask for any assistance while waiting. Nice location too. Will definitely stay again. Thanks
Excellent service and very comfortable rooms. Big shout out to Allene and Carlo who helped immeasurably with all my questions and needs. Especially with regards getting to the airport. Very welcoming hotel. It was my fourth stay and I will go back.
