Sol Plaza Hotel has extremely comfy beds and very clean rooms. We were only here for a couple of days but we definitely felt comfortable. The only downside is the lack of options that they have for breakfast, so be prepared! We ended up eating our leftovers from the night before because it was a better option than the complimentary...

We spent two nights at the Sol plaza and we can definitely recommend it. The bed was comfortable, the shower warm and the staff really helpful and friendly. We left our luggage at the hotel during a night away at lake titicaca and felt completely safe doing so. Upon arrival back, our luggage was already installed in our new room....

We stayed he here 2 x 1 night with a breakout trip to amatani. Room was fine, clean and in central location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. After returning from Amatani we were in a different room and our luggage had been safely stored and put in our rooms on return. Breakfast was also nice. So all in all...

Our very competent and understanding tour operator in Cusco, KAYPI PERU TOURS booked my daughters spring break vacation in Peru for us. Elias' mandate was to give us a great experience within a moderate budget. He came through like the professional he is. After an evening flight from Lima to Juliaca and the hour plus ride to Puno I wasn't...

We visited Puno/Lake Titicaca last December. I definitely wouldn't rate this hotel 5 stars but average. Yes the rooms can be noisy if it faces the street with all the cars honking. Seems like the rooms are not well ventilated and my son experienced altitude sickness and we had to request an oxygen tank. It's free for 30 minutes after...

Can't beat the location as just around the corner from the Plaza de Armas, great restaurants and shops. No stairs to climb as lifts available. The room was equipped with comfy beds, hot showers, a heater and free wifi which was excellent. Free Breaky was available every morning and tea available whenever you needed it. The English speaking staff were...

We had a great night in this beautiful hotel. The service was excellent and the staff is very helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect. The festival of the "Virgen de Candaleria" was in full swing and we could enjoy the festivities in the square, only half a block away. We had a quiet night in the most comfortable...

Worst than just bad service. We booked a room through booking.com. According to them, the last room available. We got a booking number and a confirmation. Then, we caught our bus to Puno and arrived at 4am. It was cold, raining and full of drunk people on the streets. When we got to the hotel, they said there was no...

This hotel is nice in itself as it is centrally located in Puno, had clean rooms. The room was a bit small though for 2 people to move around in and also only a spot for 1 suitcase so we had to improvise and use the only table in the room for our other one. We faced the street and...

The place is very clean with confortable beds. The breakfast was delicious and with a good variety. The people who attend the place are very polite and friendly. Something was wrong with the internet signal. I wasn't that great. But everything else was just perfect. It was definitely worth the money.
