On a 6 week trip to S.America we have stayed in many of this chain. Our recent experience in Puno impressed us even more than the others. The hotel staff organised a Dr. early in the morning who returned to check on my wife and ordered medicine. We kept our room on and they sorted out documents for the insurance...

We stayed here for two nights in May. The hotel is centrally located near the main square (10 mins walk). Its near the main shopping and local bars. We arrived and were greeted by a nice staff member who spoke very good english. An excellent introduction to the hotel and the local amenities was given. The bell boy carried the...

We stay 2 nights in this nice hotel. Advantages: The hotel is clean, comfortable, has a safe in the room, nice breakfast, hot water and is quiet at night. After 2 blocks (1-2 min walking) the main street is starting with shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel stuff are friendly and could speak english very well. Disadvantages: The hotel helps...

We enjoyed our stay here, the bedroom was big and well furnished, as was the bathroom. The reception is large and leads on to a dining area. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. The location is great, just a short walk along the one street takes you to the pedestrian area with plenty of places to eat and many...

We stayed two nights coming from Colca to explore Lake Titicaca. Our room was clean but didn't have a window which was rather uncomfortable. The lobby, restaurant and room were all chilly and univitingly decorated, but had everything we needed.

This was another lovely Peruvian hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious and relaxed. We had no problems staying warm - we asked for extra blankets and turned our heater on full blast! The temperature in Puno does drop as soon as it gets dark. We were able to find places to eat only a short...

We stayed here for two nights, ready for our Condors cross experience and the following day for our lake Titicaca trip. Then hotel was cold and we had difficulty keeping warm. We decided not to venture out and just to eat in the hotel. All they did was pizza and soup. This was adequate as we not particularly hungry and...

We normally use trip advisor to book all our accommodation, though for Puno, we relied on a friends recommendation of a hotel brand being Casa Andina. We also wanted to be close to the city centre as we were heading out to the islands for a homestay which required a pick up. If you are after a basic, clean hotel...

My husband and I stayed here and we were very pleased. We had stayed in upgraded hotels the two previous nights, but since this hotel was more budgeted, we were not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is in a safe location - walking distance to the main square. The rooms were very clean and quiet....

We stayed here for two nights as our resting spot for our trip to Lake Titicaca. The room was small. The mattress didn’t reach the end of the bedspring, so we kept banging our legs into it. The heater didn’t work adequately so the room was very cold. The bathroom was even colder. There was little storage space in the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A medium-size, easygoing hotel with several relaxing public areas, including a fireplace lounge and courtyard. Close to Puno’s restaurant and bar scene along the pedestrian-only Lima boulevard — just a 5-minute walk— but just far enough removed to make sure visitors get a good night’s sleep. More spacious, with larger bedrooms and with more public areas, than Casa Andina’s other downtown Puno Classic hotel. ... more   less
