We were booked into this hotel for 2 nights as part of a private tour of Puno and Lake Titicaca and onto La Paz and back to Lima. This hotel like previous Casa Andina's is a functional and clean hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful and curteous. Our reservation was handled promprtly...

We stayed here 1 night and the rooms are tidy, spacious and have warm showers. Breakfast is continental and one of the best I have had in Peru. Free wifi on offer as well. Close to the city centre as well as the local port. Would definitely recommend it as it is basic but clean and tidy. What more do...

The hotel was fine. It was clean and the staff was nice. It rained one evening we were there so we ate pizza in hotel , service was slow as it seems everyone decided to stay in like we did. The city of puno is dirty compared to cusco and Lima. Our location was fine I liked the hotel the...

As with all the Classic Andinas, they give 2 soaps, shampoo, no wash cloth. Great location, very near all what you want to see, but do take a map so you do not get lost--Puno is not safe at night. The room was clean upon arrival, but I wonder if they do anything but change towels if you stay more...

This place is quite basic, but the bed was really comfortable. Unfortunately, our room was just off the lobby and had no windows. They do a good pizza in the lobby area and the breakfast is adequate. The real disappointment with this place though, was that we are pretty sure that one of the hotel staff stole my partners mobile...

Our room was big with a large bathroom but the furnishings are dated and it was very cold. There was a small ineffective electric heater that took all night to heat the room. The whole hotel was cold!! If you didn't get to breakfast before the morning rush you would have limited items and it was already very basic!!! It's...

The Casa Andina in Puno is located only 2 blocks from the main tourist street where all the restaraunts, bars and clubs are. However, it is on a dark and somewhat rough, dirty street. That being said - basically as soon as you leave the one main tourist street in Puno, all of the streets are dark, rough and dirty....

Casa Andina hotels have all the things you need plus things you're hoping to get-like a good breakfast (arrive early) and quality customer service. Our double twin room was a little cramped and it did get cold at night even with heat. The location really can't be beat, though. Just a few blocks from the train station, main street with...

On a 6 week trip to S.America we have stayed in many of this chain. Our recent experience in Puno impressed us even more than the others. The hotel staff organised a Dr. early in the morning who returned to check on my wife and ordered medicine. We kept our room on and they sorted out documents for the insurance...

We stayed here for two nights in May. The hotel is centrally located near the main square (10 mins walk). Its near the main shopping and local bars. We arrived and were greeted by a nice staff member who spoke very good english. An excellent introduction to the hotel and the local amenities was given. The bell boy carried the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A medium-size, easygoing hotel with several relaxing public areas, including a fireplace lounge and courtyard. Close to Puno’s restaurant and bar scene along the pedestrian-only Lima boulevard — just a 5-minute walk— but just far enough removed to make sure visitors get a good night’s sleep. More spacious, with larger bedrooms and with more public areas, than Casa Andina’s other downtown Puno Classic hotel. ... more   less
