I am usually a hostel man, but I found this hotel by chance and decided to treat myself as I had just done the Inca Trail. Got a discount from $60 to $40 for a simple room, which was huge with 2 double beds, private bathroom with warm shower, a tv, wifi And included breakfast. The only recommendation is that...

Great location right next to the Plaza del Arms, with all the restaurants, shops close by. Room was huge, but one of the twin beds in room was filthy like it had not been clean. Bathroom had a bath but no plug, but reception arranged for the serviceman to come. This place is expensive and I am sure there is...

The staff at the reception are really dedicated and helpfull to give you anykind of tips in the area. What is worth seing and not, how to get there, etc. The included breakfast is fare. As the rooms, we had a large triple room with a small eating system. We used it because it was a bit humid. Hot water...

We had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel about 3 weeks ago due to the hotel we were meant to be staying in flooded. We assumed due to the very high price that this would be a nice hotel. However I have travelled the world and stayed in cleaner hostels! The hotel smells damp. The room was dirty...

Very bad service from staff, definitely not worth the price and the quality they say....The WORST part is that you can not sleep if your room faces like a bar with singing until 4am...No use to have a hotel room if you can not even sleep. They did not do anything and the reception nobody after midnight....

Very cold hotel. They gave us a portable heater with the temperature adjustment knob broken, that we tried to fix using paper wedges. The bathroom was large (shower above the tub with plastic curtain), but the jet of water from the shower was weak and the hot/cold regulation difficult to achieve. The towels were old and dingy, the breakfast very...

This is a nice hotel , it is very well located. The service was excellent nad the staff unique. The only negative comment is that the price was very high, maybe this was the most expensive hotel in Peru we stayed, but I do not regret to have chosen it. rooms were good, big enugh, clean and bathroom clean and...

Best suited for independent self sufficient travelers who can roll with minor inconveniences. Staff was polite and friendly. Central location. Clean with nice mattress and linens. Working fireplace in cozy lobby. Electric oil filled portable radiators provided in-room heat. Perhaps those heaters were a contributing factor to the hotel's electrical circuit breaker tripping off. Lights were restored within a few...

The rooms are very dated and not all that clean. The pillows and bedding has a lot to be desired. Worst of all the staff while willing to help struggle to speak English and are often incompetent. E.g. we asked about the laundry service and were told just bring it down in the morning. We did and were told no...

Initially, the Plaza Mayor shows quite well. They have a nice looking lobby and the staff are friendly...as long as you don't ask for anything. We had two nights booked, one and then a second with a couple of days in between while we went to the Islands. The first night was okay, a little dissapointing for the price. The...
