Our visit started well - the receptionist was very helpful in ensuring that we had a double bed, rather than the twin room which had been booked and managed to arrange an "interior" room as we were having trouble with traffic noise. The room furniture is, however, very basic. Everything fell apart when we tried to eat in the 6th...

Nothing in particular stands out about this hotel. The staff was helpful and we had a good night's sleep. Our room looked out on a dirty lightwell, but at least it was quiet. We had dinner in the sixth floor restaurant one night due to a cloudburst - the food was mediocre and the service was extremely slow.

La Hacienda has recently been renovated. In the heart of downtown & just a few blocks from the main Plaza, the service could not have been better - from the 1st moment we arrived. The staff could not do enough for us. The front desk continually went out of their way to accommodate any of our needs. We ate dinner...

Located in the center of the city within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Direct TV in room. Restaurant was small, but adequate. Food quality was fair. Breakfast was fair. Free high speed internet 24/7.

We stayed at the La Hacienda for 2 nights in a double room. From the moment we arrived, their service was top notch. The location is excellent, literally one block away from the Plaza de Armas and Lima Street (the main drag in Puno). Our double room was spacious and very comfortable. Although our window faced the street, my elderly...

My husband and I stayed here two nights as we spent one day visiting Uros and Taquile islands. The hotel is well located near the main square. Keep in mind that Puno is pretty high (3830m or 12,566ft) therefore walking around can be tiring (the location is important!). The room was good (king bed), very clean but simple. The bathroom...

We went back to eat in the restuarant even when we moved to another hotel because La Hacienda was full our last night in Puno. Friendly staff, good food, quality rooms with lovely bathrooms, we got some good sleep here.

This hotel is in a great location, just a minute’s walk from the Plaza de Armas and the good restaurants nearby. The room was cozy but adequate, I did have a meal in the restaurant one night and it tasted good. Breakfast is served on the top floor with a great view over Lake Titicaca and the sun rising over...

We stumbled upon La Hacienda after viewing a few very average budget hotels. The outside was inviting and we were welcomed by the friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and very clean. It had wi-fi and cable tv and was close by to restaurants. We were even provided with a complimentary pisco sour on the first night. The staff spoke...
