Nothing to say about the hospitality.. even if we had to wait 10 minutes before somebody arrived to open the door (finally a guy came) then the woman who seemed to be the owner offered us a warm muña infusion and accepted our request to change the room - one with private bathroom at the last floor instead the one...

Location is a bit further from the shore or plaza but stay was nice, everything was clean. Would recommend. Breakfast is standard bread and jam. Lady took a while to answer the door in the morning but generally friendly. Kitchen in the terrace is pretty, just a pain to walk all the way up for a glass of water. Architecture...

We stayed in the hostel for one night and were warmly greeted on arrival by the owner. Our room was a large corner room with a panoramic view over the city and Lake Titicaca. There were 2 double beds in our room and the bed had plenty of blankets to keep warm on the cold night. We had a shared...

We stayed 2 nights at this hostel and it was very nice. I had been in Peru for over 3 months at this point and I can say that it was the most quiet place where I stayed!!! I missed the calm of home in Canada and so I really enjoyed staying there. The place is clean. The owner was...

The personnel was very friendly. My room had an amazing view on the city and the lake. All my questions were well answered. The common space was well kept and tidy. Very clean too. It's not very far from the centre too. A good $ value.

I wasn´t particularly fussed where we stayed for the night before heading to La Paz so long as there was a bed and hot water. We arrived Duque Inn and waited a mere 10 mins before the actual person in charge came down to check us in. Our rooms were decent enough but during this time Puno is freezing so...

I made a reservation for a room with double (matrimonial) bed and private bathroom months in advance and emailed to confirm the week before. When we arrived, it seemed to be a surprise to the staff. A young boy was watching cartoons behind the desk and it took him a long time to find someone to open the door. They...

With included breakfast this is true value choice in Puno. Rooms are a bit cold but nights in Puno tend to be freezing. They have extra blankets for you. Staff was very nice and flexible (waking up at before 6 am just to give me breakfast before I catch my buss to Bolivia).

The main thing to note here is that the hostal is around a 10 min walk from the centre of town, which in the day is ok, but can be slightly sketchy at night, as the streets get quieter and less touristy as you get further away from the centre. We didn't have any problems, but its something just to...

While the hostel itself is clean and quiet the hospitality was exceptional. I was bitten by a dog in Puno and Norma accompanied me to the emergency room and even brought me tea after. Would definitely recommend. Also the view from breakfast is nice!

“5th flr: noisy, door made w thin glass. Wifi good. Rm by front desk: noisier, TV, people buzzing multiple times each to be let in. Wifi bad.”
  • Our view. The building next door is incomplete, but has people living on the main floor.
  • DIY light fixture in the room behind the front desk.
  • Db room with shared bath. Window has a huge crack and it gets cold in Puno at night.
