For it's price range Camino Real is absolutely stop on. Hotel at hostal prices. Nothing flash, but smart enough. Most importantly, very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, good shower and clean towels. Puno can get very cool at night, Camino Real have heaters for the rooms on request. Staff are among the best we've experienced in South America - ultra-friendly, very...

Very helpful and friendly English speaking staff. They have a free computer for internet use in the breakfast room and a good breakfast spread. Room is small but clean and includes a heater. Facilities overall are great, though only one of us got hot water the second morning. The street noise level at this hotel is pretty high, so perhaps...

We were on the 4th floor and street noise was quite loud. Front desk was quite helpful. Breakfast was basic and ok. Room was comfortable enough but if I was staying longer than a day, I would have requested another room. Bathroom had water leak??

We stayed at this hotel based on tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed, the breakfast was just fine for the price. We had booked a 4 bedroom 'dorm' not knowing what to expect, but as it is a hotel, we had two adjoining hotel rooms with each their bathroom and tv. It was just what we needed to relax from...

We stayed here as part of an organized tour with Active South America. We didn't expect anything fancy, but we ended up being very pleasantly surprised by this place! You absolutely can't beat the location. The rooms are very nice, beds are comfy, and the abundance of hot water and great water pressure gave us the very best shower we...

My wife and I planned out our own 2-week vacation with the intention of staying in hostels in each city. The Camino Real Turistico was priced so well that we decided to stay in the hotel. We'd definitely recommend it to other budget travelers. It's only a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas and most of the centrally located...

I had altitude sickness my second day in Puno. It is no fun being sick while traveling alone, but the hotel staff was incredibly solicitous. Senor Cesar, the manager, constantly checked in with me, arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel, supplied me with oxygen, and sent someone to fill my prescriptions. What luck I was staying here!...

We were met by the hotel lady at the InkaExpress bus station about our Cusco-Puno touristic bus at 5pm. They did not have their own "pickup" car but the hotel staff took a taxi with us at 4 soles to the hotel. The staff helped us take our heavy luggages to the room (don't do this yourself unless you get...

Great service, the staff is super nice and helpful. The location is very central and close to plaza de armas. The look of the hotel is a bit '80s. But the rooms are clean, they have extra portable heaters and there is plenty of really hot water. The most striking thing is the helpfulness and kindness of the staff which...
