Stayed at this hotel for one night with two friends (triple room). We got to Puno very early in the morning after taking a night bus from Cusco but managed to get some rest in an empty room before settling in to our actual room. It was a good size but not too many outlets. The bathroom was clean and...

We went to this hostal after recommandation of another traveller. Hostal was clean, good beds, spacieuse room with table And chairs. Bathroom with hot water. Only négative point nowhere to hang towel. The owner was very helpfull. I had a bad stomach and she brought us some tea in the room. We also got hot water bags, we really appreciated....

Very decent hotel in Puno, staff was helpful, good room and breakfast. Good value for money in Puno. A little far from the main bus station but not an issue in taxi. Supermarket very close, Main town center and travel agencies at walking distance also.

The location is good, just a five minute walk to the main tourist street and restaurants. In the evening ladies sell bread outside the hostel. The port is not far away and trips to the island can be arranged for 25 soles per person. 24 hour hot water, excellent wifi, comfy bed and larger than average room. The breakfast was...

We arrived very early in the morning and they gave us temporarily a room just to rest from the bus trip from Cusco. Our room was not free yet and we booked a tour to the Uros Islands (a must see!!! but do not take the full day trip to the other island, it is a very long boat ride...

With all the bad reviews we were expecting a dump! But we were pleasantly surprised. I guess that there are more tourists in this part of South America so the expectations are higher. The rooms are clean, nice enough, decorated like your grannies house and we had hot water for almost every shower. We stayed here three times... 2 nights...

Pros: Cheap! 1 young lady and 1 young man reception in the night speak simple English. The lady who serves breakfast is very nice and kind. I love the breakfast here! It's located near central market, main plaza and not far from harbor. It is noisy in the night but we walk a lot on the day, so we still...

If you must stay in Puno, this hotel is cheap. But nothing works. Not much hot water. Unstable electricity. The pictures from other travelers showed rooms much nicer than ours. There was a train track and a place which sold loud "boom box" stereos across the street, so the noise only stopped at night. The staff kept the front doors...

Pro's - ok sized room - comfy bed - heaters for hire for minimal charge - excellent breakfast - fresh bread, fresh juice, eggs, tea coffee, etc - ok location - cheap Con's - dank, dark and musty - mouldy ceiling - gap at top of bathroom door so not entire privacy - little English spoken despite advertisement (which is...

I suppose we shouldn't have expected much for 25 dollars a night. The hotel is apparently located in a dodgy area, so the front doors are always locked and you need to hang around waiting for a receptionist to appear with the keys. The room was very dark and dingy, just like the reception, and with a "view" across a...
