We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. We were very anxious on how our 4 year old son was going to like it - but he seemed to love every bit of it. The resort is around 1 hour away from the airport (15 minutes by shuttle and 45 minutes by boat). If you are arriving at around...

Rather than repeat all the positives from previous reviews - which I totally agree with; I will just mention the less than positive aspects, which believe are minor and possibly not worth mentioning. The food is variable not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination, but remember where this is located, at the edge of the jungle!. A fact that...

We were due to stay here three nights but had to move to the Haciena Conception on our last night due to a mix up with bookings ( we knew about this before we arrived in Peru and was due to an agency mix up not the Inkaterra). Loved every minute of the stay especially at the Reserva Amazonica and...

This is a real find. Gourmet food, first class service in the Amazonian rainforest. So many people to acknowledge starting with Miguel who greeted us at the airport and escorted us to the resort and then our guide Elias in the Eco-center who went above and beyond any expectation we had. Next, the dining room ; food service kudos to...

We stayed at this lodge for 3 nights 4 days, more than enough to relax and see the Amazon. Our room was excellent, we paid extra for a plunge pool in our room and well worth the money. Following every excursion we definitely enjoyed the refreshing experience. The room was huge and totally open to the outside( just screening). The...

Takes almost a full day to get there from Cusco or Lima. Bungalows and central lodge are airy and very well kept. Food is excellent. They claim to have 14 excursions but guides discourage small groups or individual choices, so not all excursions are available. Piranha fishing trip cost more but was worth it. Other excursions were hot, and the...

We decided to visit this part of Peru as the starting point for our tour. This gave us time to adjust our bodies to the climate and drink plenty of coca tea in preparation for the higher altitudes to come. The lodge is a great place to stay. The rooms are large and well appointed with hot/cold running water showers...

We had an awesome time at the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica over the cours of 3 nights and 4 days. It is a 85% all inclusive, with enough included tours and trips to make 3-4 days a good value despite the high price. The Good: -Inkaterra makes it simple to get there. Once you get off of the plane, you walk...

We stayed 3 nights in a superior cabana at this Reserve on the Madre de Dios River in Amazon Basin. The cabana was clean and very well maintained. There was no TV, WiFi or phones for the entire complex and we did not miss any of these. The staff and Guides were polite and very helpful. My wife and I...

Staying here was like being on a second honeymoon for us. Everything was beautiful and impeccably maintained. Our cabana was right in front of the river so we could lay in bed or lounge on our hammocks and watch river life go by, so peaceful and relaxing and having no wifi helped us to switch off. The large king size...
