If you're looking for a place to stay between archeological visits you don't need a fancy one. This place is a good choice in Chiclayo. The best is the customer service! The whole place is clean and breakfast is meant to give you energy for the rest of the day. Good and affordable choice.

I chose this through reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and it was pretty much what we expected, despite the taxi driver trying to persuade us to go somewhere else! The rooms are prettily designed, with strong Japanese touches. They have everything you need but they are small. However, it's an extremely good price (£25 a night or 90 soles)...

The staff isn't helpful. We asked for directions or help with how to dial a number and no help was given. The staff is unfriendly except for one young man named johnathan. The food is okay, but it lacks selection. The city doesn't have much to do. We have been warned by taxis and waiters that it is unsafe in...

On our journey over North Peru, staying at Hostal Hikari in Chiclayo was a great experience. This location was very convenient in Chiclayo. It's 1.5 blocks east of the Main Plaza on San Jose Street. The place is on a busy street within walking distance of Bolognesi Avenue which has all the main Bus Terminals. I wanted to stay near...

We booked two rooms for one night through the web. The hostel picked us up at the bus station for free. The ladies at the reception gave us good advice about what to visit, and helped us organizing the visit to the important sites in the region. They are very friendly and helpful with everything. It is a small hostel...

stayed here for two nights in a double room with my partner. We recieved a decent welcome on arrival, and we were helped out by the staff with local information during our stay. The building and rooms seem quite new and they're pretty clean, and everything is in working order. The double bed was soft, but unfortunately quite small, as...

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in this hostal. It is very modern, nicely decorated, and we enjoyed our stay here. The standard rooms are small but very cosy, and have cable tv and a mini fridge. In the morning you can enjoy the complementary breakfast on the roof terrace. The location is very good; close to the...
