Nutshell: Basic, simple, facilities. MUCH LIKE CAMPING. Toilet hut, shower hut, dining hut, private sleeping hut with places to hang your stuff. Small concession for water, beer, and maybe wine. 3 simple meals a day, FRESH seafood often, but not always. It would probably disappoint most people, BUT I LOVED IT. Ina and his family own the island (as I understand it), and also run Robinson Cabins. Myself and two friends arranged transport and rooms through Mamallena Backpackers Hostel in Panama City, and chose Ina Cabins based on reviews and word of mouth. Probably not much difference, although word of mouth said food was better with Ina. The cabins are thatch, the beds are foam mattress on wooden frame with a bottom sheet and a top sheet. The floors are sand. Geckos everywhere.…
