A peacefull place, very friendly hosts and perfect tours!!!
The people here took very good care about us. We made a nice tour by boat to the the sourounded island with jungle tour and dolphin watching. The other day a tour through the mangroves by kayak.
The place was clean and the food (they cook for you if you ask for) was delicious!!

I absolutely loved staying at this hostal. The owner are so sweet and helpful with whatever you need. We went to see some small baby turtles being born at the beach with the owner, he is truly service minded and just a cool dude to hang with:) They have great breakfast and a nice outside common space. Although its a short bus ride to the center, i loved the peace in the area. To walk around in the panamanian neighbourhood was just very nice, with supermarket and a good local restaurant close by. Would highly recommend to stay here while visiting David:)

My wife and I spent last night here after we crossed the border from Costa Rica into Panama. The owner and his wife we're some of the most friendly and accommodating people we've met. And their little dog is so friendly and fun to play with. We parked our bikes securely right inside the gated area, under cover from the rain. We had an incredibly clean room and bathroom all to ourselves for less than $30. Only a 10 minute walk to a fantastic seafood restaurant. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a very nice stay, Corado and Cynthia were very welcoming and friendly. They gave us good advice on food and things to do. We did a one day trip in the Chiriquí gulf, just amazing, dolphins, monkeys, beaches, walks,... all alone in the nature with a very good captain explaining so well. We will remember it a lot. Went there on my way to bocas del toro,and stayed for few days,good wifi,clean rooms and best excursions on the area,dont miss the dolphin tour,the owner corrado is a very good italian cook,try their food!! Also came to pick me up on the airport. A must in David!! Will return for sure. Thank you Jordi

My wife and myself stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and liked it a lot! It is only a 15 min bus drive from David (a bit out of town but therefore much quieter than David centre). The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and the common areas as well. The breakfast is very good too and the owners are the nicest!
We recommend 100%
If you are looking for an excellent pizza, ask the owners in the morning if they can prepare some for the night! Highly recommended too!

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food is delicious and it is prepared by the owners, so you may be sure everything you eat is the best quality. The owner's wife makes tasty marmelade from her own garden fruit and she bakes the bread by herself, which makes you feel like you are in heaven. Outside you can rest and drink some icy fresh drink made of fruit. The owner - an Italian guy - helps with organising various trips and dealing with different staff.

We stopped in this quite hostel for a night while traveling to Costa Rica. The host is Italian, speaks Spanish very well and is super hospitable and accommodating room are basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast available on demand. Safe area, and a couple of good restaurants nearby. Recommended for sure!

It was a very good place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and near airport, restaurants, supermarkets, downtown of David and port, where you can leave for interesting tours in the Chiriqui Gulf. The room was very clean and orderly. Corrado and Sintia, the owners, are very nice and friendly. The restaurant is very good,we've eaten an amazing Spaghetti with lobster!

Visit the Hostel La Libertad with my girlfriend. The hostel is on the outskirts of the city of David, near Puerto Pedregal, in an area that is not the best. However it is close to the airport (about five-ten minutes by car), over the main road, and easy to get to both public and private transport. Conrad welcomed us with kindness. The room was spacious, simple but immaculately clean. The air conditioning worked well every time, as well as the water pressure. We did not hear noises in the evenings, we were able to sleep very well. The pillows are somewhat thin but it is a matter of taste. The breakfasts were very good, at $ 5 per person.The free wifi signal was strong and stable. We were able to keep our car in the closed garage of the hostel without any difficulty. In short, an economical place, clean, safe and with an excellent attention of Conrado and his wife. We recommend it if you are not too picky.
