I was very impressed. Julio was my contact online and he was very attentive. The entire staff from the front desk to the dining area were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The restaurant and rooms are nice and the workmanship is very good. I spent one night on my way out of Chiriquí. It made getting to my early flight easy. The included breakfast was wonderful with plenty of options and ample portions. The only negative would be the railings on the staircase were loose and need to be fixed. But they did not seem dangereous, YET. We will be back.

Parking is good, in front of hotel available most of the time. Careful when ordering tea, of you ask for it with milk, they'll put the tea bag in all milk (no water). If you ask to correct, they'll put about 50/50. Need to specify water and milk separately. Air conditioning works weird in some rooms. Breakfast menu items sometimes don't match what's on the menu, can be significantly different.
Oh, and my child got a metal shaving in her hojaldra (typical local fried bread).

Wow. We were looking for a nice meal and a quiet night before an early flight. Well there was a wedding there that night and all the other guests be dammed. Our room service dinner was expensive and equally offensive. The portabella mushroom rosisotto was leftover rice with canned mushrooms and cheese, the garlic shrimp was over cooked and rubbery with undercooked mashed potatoes. The wedding party partied all night long everywhere and with screaming kids. Tried to direct noise complaints to those making it, when this did not work tried to get help from the front desk. That lasted about 5 minutes then they vanished. Things quieted around 2:00 AM, breakfast the next morning was equally as bad and started a half hour late. Kenneth we are really sorry to read all that happend to you, let me assure you this is not a regular experience in Aranjuez Hotel. We did have a wedding at the hotel but it was over before 11 P.M. the issue with kids and parents yelling at 2:00 AM were other guests coming back from a party somewhere else, we apologize for the inconvenience, really tried to stop the noise and calmed everybody down but it was too late and their noise lasted serveral minutes. About our restaurant service most of our guests love the food here but your comments will be forwarded to our chef so we can do it better for you . We know apologies may not be enough but we really hope you can give us a second chance so you can get to know our excellent service and food as it usually is (and we've been awarded for it 😃). Check in was fine. The restaurant was fine. But there was no hot water in the morning for a shower which was a disappointment given the long day of travel ahead of us. And then to top it off they advertised the restaurant open at 6:30 AM however upon arrival we were told they open at seven, another disappointment because we had to leave for the airport by 730. I would’ve been more understanding if this was a cheap hotel however it wasn’t. Therefore I’m lowering my overall rating.

Dear guest we are really sorry to know about this inconvenience you had with us. First of all would like to confirm you that hot water could take some time to get from the heater to the room in the early morning since no other room is using it, but it's just a matter of waiting for it a little longer or you can call us so we can help you faster. On the other hand opening times should be respected or announced on time so we apologize for that inconvenience on our side since it was a holiday special schedule but we failed to announce you properly which we are sorry for. The staff was fantastic, the food and service in the restaurant and bar was great and the room was clean! We needed help with having our rental car picked up and a taxi arranged to take us to the boarder. The front desk staff took care of everything for us and everything went smoothly. The staff of this hotel was spectacular. We were celebrating our "5th Anniversary of Living in Panama". We had mentioned this on check-in and we were treated to a special dessert with that fact noted on the plate. The waitstaff were available and accommodating. Our room was perfect for us. No noise and we enjoyed our hot showers immensely. Our front desk person, Haxciria, was attentive to our needs and treated us with respect and friendliness. We look forward to our next visit.

Yes they have safes in every room! Great place to land especially if you are heading for the airport and need a good nights rest close to the airport! They also have a great restaurant and Bar with a complimentary welcome drink and great free breakfast in the morning!

Cannot answer that one... as we had a car on our trip. BUT, I can't imagine the Hotel Staff not doing everything possible to accommodate a guest's needs or wishes. It is only a couple of miles to the Airport from the Hotel.
"Excellent choice if you want to be treated well. They offer transportation to and from the airport. To move around, it's better to use InDrive than Uber."
There are more places to choose from in the David area.
