The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean but is dated and expensive for what you get. They have a parrot in a tiny cage with no way of him seeing out. Very cruel and unnecessary. I would have rated the hotel higher had it not been for this, it really took away from the experience.

The new signs interspersed along the road from David certainly help the first time visitor find their way. The layout of the hotel/resort provides every room a view to the beach and ocean and you can hear the waves all night if you left the door open to your nice sized balcony or patio. The rooms remind me of a...

We stayed here only for one night as we were driving from Bocas del Toro back to Panama City. The property is off the beaten path so it is very quiet and secluded. View from room is amazing (ocean) and facilities are well maintained. We were a bit tight with 4 adults in one room, but rooms were otherwise very...

I can't wait to visit Las Olas again! The food was fantastic, very fresh, courtesy of the farm down the road! The pools were terrific, and the Pacific Ocean can't be beat. I enjoyed the tennis courts, the excellent staff, 2 dozen turtles, the hammocks, view of the beach from the room, and beautiful gardening everywhere. Proprietors Juan & Donna...

I just spent a week at Las Olas and cannot recommend it highly enough. First of all, it is a small resort with only 48 rooms/suites which makes it feel intimate. Secondly, it is gorgeous, with palm trees galore and flowering vines everywhere. Thirdly, it is surprisingly affordable. The food is great and all of the staff are warm, personable...

I will stay here again! The resort is clean and comfortable and well cared for. The staff is lovely, accommodating and goes out of their way to assist us (with our limited Spanish.) Our room is spacious enough with a king bed, and the AC works great and is not too noisy. This is not a modern hotel, but I...
