If you like sitting on the beach or your patio, watching the surf, this is a place for you. A family has turned their hundred-year old cattle ranch into a beach resort, well done. Must have been a great place 20 years ago, now it appears quite outdated, but the price is adequate. And despite our personal opinion, we are...

We stayed for one night on way down from Costa Rica border. We selected this hotel rather than staying in David - a very good choice!! The hotel is on a miles long beach (surfing, not swimming) has really nice facilities, really good restaurant, and very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are nicely appointed with balconies looking over the ocean....

We stayed for one night last week while driving south from Costa Rica and very much enjoyed our stay there. Last year we stayed at hotel in David and this is a MUCH preferable stay. The location on the beautiful beach provided opportunity for long walk - for miles - but it is not a swimming beach. The grounds of...

The room we had did have a small patio with pretty good views. It was in need of a good update. The furnishings were old and dated and the bedspread was old and pilley. You had to pay for ice, water and even the coffee for the in room pot. The pool area was vey pretty but you could feel...

We didn't stay at the resort, but ate at the restaurant 3 times. The manager, Everardo, helped us each time and he made our visit so pleasant! We felt welcomed and well served! The Valentine's dinner was Perfect. Our steak and fish were well prepared and presented. Wait staff was extremely attentive! The décor and ocean view added to our...

I had a nice stay at Las Olas, although there were a few times where we had to wait quite a while to get service, the staff was very friendly. The pools were nice, the room was comfortable. The bathroom could use a bit of a cleanup but was overall comfortable. My favorite part was each room had an ocean...

The title tells it all. If you'd like to spend the time for more details, read on... We had a day to spend after a few days in Boquete and wanted some beach/pool time before flying out of David that evening. So we only spent 6 hours there (thank goodness). We got a room which was only slightly more expensive...

Dear Customer is a shame to see this kind of criticism on our property, if we have not cover your expectations, so sorry. it's important to let know that our hotel does not lie with the pictures that we present on our websites (you are correct we don’t have an Olympic pool), all of them are real and the reality...

There are reviews that call this an old and tired resort. Not really. Its maybe an older hotel and being directly on the beach takes its toll - but its still solid. Definitely an above average hotel. Each room has its own air conditioner and ours struggled some during the day but was okay at night. Furnishings were fine -...

We only paid $60.00 at booking.com. You are paying what you get. Rooms are not the best, they are clean. Food is really good, the pool bar is not that fancy, you get beers and some drinks. There are no more hotels in the área so if you want to go to La Barqueta, this is the place for you....

The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean but is dated and expensive for what you get. They have a parrot in a tiny cage with no way of him seeing out. Very cruel and unnecessary. I would have rated the hotel higher had it not been for this, it really took away from the experience.
