Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were transiting from Panama City and choose to stay at chambre en ville. You'll be received by the very friendly owner that gave us just all the info we needed. The place is very convenient, a quick 2 dollars ride from the bus terminal and has restaurants and Supermarkets around. Very cool Toucan.

I arrived in the afternoon and left early morning. I was traveling alone but had a room with 3 beds. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. I looked at the pool but did not try it - looked very nice. There is a supermarket within one block.

We loved the Chambresenville hostel The large diverse gardens, the wonderful murals byJavier Bogantes, the swimming pool and the clean relatively well stocked kitchen won our hearts. David is a hot bustling city, but this hostel is an oasis of calm, safety and comfort. Luis is quite flluent in English and he reccommended a good restaurant, how to find the cash machine, and what to do during our stay. The pool was a lifesaver and I enjoyed the mural of a boardwalk in front of an ocean above it.. Luis has asked the artist to remove some mildew, but Javier is too busy. This is not an upscale place, but it's clean, the airconditioning works as does the t.v. I even found an american CNN. If you like life a bit funky Chambres en ville will delight you as it did us.

A beautiful hostel with a really friendly staff. Was lucky to stumble on this gem. Even have a colorful tucan and let my dog stay! I really enjoyed the dew days I stayed and it's really open and comfortable. A bit expensive for me but worth every penny. Luis is a vault of information and is extremely helpful/kind.

Let us start to tell that Luis (who runs this place) is very friendly and helpful to provide you with all kind of info about David. Really nice guy. The room we stayed in was ok. Good airco, clean bed and enough space. Bathroom was a bit small and slightly old, but what could you expect for 30 USD a night. It is close to the centre of the town, but still quiet enough for a good night sleep. So, if you consider price, location and friendly staff we maybe should rate it very good.

I like this place so much! It is near to the center. The owners are very gently and I returned there for several times! The garden is beautiful with fruit trees and many flowers. The kitchen and eating aerea is outside. It is nice to stay there and to meet people from all over the world and in different ages. It is a safe place to stay. The rooms are clean and unique arranged. It is nice to spend some time at the pool, before the sun is on the highest point. Billy and Magi, the dogs of the hostal, enjoy to play with the people who like it and the birds are very funny. If you look for an oasis in the city, this is the right place. And I know that I will always stay there when I go to David...

This place is not in most of the guidebooks, so it is a FIND. It is quiet and has a beautiful garden and swimming pool, and plenty of space to chill out all over the grounds. It's clean and you barely realize you're in the city. Luis and his mom are friendly, low key and helpful. There is a lovely, clean kitchen, free coffee in the mornings and lots of places to store your food if you like to cook. There are rooms in a number of price ranges - I stayed in the dorms which are basic but clean and comfy (nice lockers too). I spent three nights there chilling out in the tranquil spaces and enjoying the friendliness of the other guests, which are in general a bit older than the traditional backpackers, which is a nice refreshing change.. It's not really a party place, but the guests

Everything was fine. We had a very clean room and the beds were confortables. Luis was very nice and helpful. The only problem we had was that we did'nt know that we had a change of 1 hour so we were late for our bus and we had to take a late bus to Panama City.
