Room was quiet, location was 5 min taxi from bus station. Standard room was simple, clean, good aircon with some extra space so did not feel cramped. Reasonable price. Amazingly, Wifi was accessible inside the room even though the booking.com details indicate Wifi only in common areas. Note, that prices quoted usually do not include the 10% VAT so $38 becomes $41.80.

The hotel was very clean & looked like it was recently remodeled. The room was very nice, spacious & nicely decorated. The staff was super friendly & spoke some English (we are in Panama after all, so I didn't come expecting that they would perfectly fluent). They were really helpful when we needed to order a pizza to be delivered and the guy didnt speak any english & my spanish wasnt keeping up. Free coffee in the lobby was actually really good, and the wifi signal was great. The ONLY complaint I have is that the hotel is on the second floor of a building, with no elevator, which was a pain for us with 4 suitcases, a stroller and a 2 year old (we are traveling for a year). Great place, especially for the price.

I stayed one night in David between my last night in Boquete and my flight back to Panama City the next morning. Even though Boquete is only about 45 minutes away, I didn't want to risk missing the flight because of a problem with transport. I had no intention of doing anything David except eating one meal and sleeping for eight hours, and this hotel was perfect for that.
The location was fine. It was a $2 taxi ride from the bus station and a $5 taxi ride to the airport. I had the hilarious and embarrassing experience of thinking the front entrance to the hotel was locked closed because I kept trying to pull it open rather than push it in. Note to self. The service at the front desk was friendly gave me an excellent recommendation on where to eat (Multi Cafe) that was only a few blocks away. I also found the grocery store and was able to pick up some water and snacks for the next day. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable enough; water was hot; TV worked; WiFi worked; A/C wall unit kept the room cool. It smelled like they were trying too hard to make it smell nice, but that is hardly a reason to reject the place, especially for the price.

Firstly the staff is accommodating and friendly. Like many humid region hotels, they are battling against humidity and the concomitant smells. The AC is out of reach for the elderly and those with balance concerns. Also, the room is relatively small. The hotel is clean, and again, they have excellent staff. It would be ideal for a stop as you descend the Pan-American highway. It is not suitable if you don't have a car available.

1. Bad experience with the reception lady. Bad attitude. I went to ask him that because they did not clean and change towels and he rudely answers that if I had requested it. I told him that's not requested. You apply if you don't want to. Not if you want to. And he kept daring me. I've never had a bad tam experience in a residential hotel. I understand why in Panama the care is bad. 2. There are no parking lots. It only has 3-4 in the entire square.

After spending a week in the rainforest I needed to spend one night in David near the airport. This place was cheap and convenient.
Enough with the foreplay.. This room smelled like a mixture of vomit and bleach. There were no face towels. The air-conditioner was missing knobs. I would consider next time to stay either in a more expensive place or a less expensive hostel with a private room.

We stayed for two nights but cancelled our reservation for our next stay scheduled two weeks later. The room had high gloss tile on the floor and on the bathroom walls which give the initial appearance of cleanliness. Our socks quickly showed that the floor needed mopping and when examining the bathroom walls they were splattered with ??? from prior guests and could really use a good scrubbing. The shower did have hot water but could be difficult to adjust (at one point with only cold turned on the shower was uncomfortable hot) and the sink had only cold water. The water pressure was low and occasionally just stopped running (inconvenient if one is covered with soap) . Lighting in the room was terrible with one cfl bulb recessed into the ceiling in the center of the room which made reading very difficult. The hotel had no internet while we were there. My computer recognized a strong wifi signal but there was no internet. Noise from the street as pretty bad. Engine noise and car alarms were present most of the time. Positives were a comfortable bed, central location, and a friendly (slightly bilingual) staff.

For the price of $32 and in the center of town, these very simple and basic but clean rooms are excellent. No noise though we had a room right to the street (212). The receptionist was very friendy upon check-in and they have a small basic menu for room service available (from 7-7 and not on sundays). Hot shower (which I really needed) and aircon and wifi available in the recetion, I am not sure if there is also wifi in the room. The location is just right in the center of town next to the casino. We stayed only for one night on a shopping trip to David. We will definitely stay here again next week as the value is definitely worth it. There is no security indeed but the door to the hotel can only be opened when the receptionist clicks on a button to buzz the lock. Overall just a very good place to stay!

We stayed 3 nights. Parking was always a bit of a pain unless you came later at night. Check in was easy but really no English spoken. There is always somebody at the desk, seemingly 24H. Note - the rooms are on the 1st floor and there is NO elevator - just stairs. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Shower was nice and hot. The AC unit looked a bit rough but it did an awesome job of keeping the room comfortable. The room was noisy by day but at night very quiet. There was always free coffee in the lobby. TV worked well but no English channels. WI-Fi was a good strong signal. Not many electrical outlets in the room. We had no maid service but it wasn't really an issue. Lots of eating / shopping in walking distance. There is no in room refrigerator or microwave and no hotel breakfast but we can recommend Multi Café, which is a few minutes walk to either location. We will stay here again for sure. Great price and location.
