I'm not sure what the mildew reviewers were talking about, but I just stayed at the Colibrí and I thought it was amazing for the price we spent. For $24 for two people we got a private bathroom with hot water, cable TV (not that you need TV), and WiFi. I even paid attention to smell all the pillows and... More

Very attractive grounds and lovely garden in front of our room. We were happy until we smelled the room. Mildew. We'd had worse at Canal Inn in Panama City but this was still pretty bad. Much improved when we turned on the air conditioning. The simple, no frills room was otherwise clean. The bedding and pillows seemed to smell fine.... More

For something that is a cross between a B&B and a hotel, this place is okay. I felt a little uncomfortable when I first walked in and met the owner. She was sending her husband off to the office and requested to come later. We marched on to Central Park and spent a couple of hours there. She was gracious... More

We spent 6 nights in this comfortable place. Two very good beds, lots of hot water and very peaceful. Our bathroom was spacious, modern beautifully tiled and spotlessly clean. Everything worked. Two English women in our early seventies, happy to return to Boquete and find such a good place to stay after 4 weeks traveling in Panama. All for 20$... More

We dropped in at Colibri based on a review from another user. The owner was very pleasant and we were able to get two rooms - one for my wife and I, one for our two kids - for $40 US. The rooms were fairly basic and small - typical of what I've seen in basic Central American hotels. But... More

I had made several business trips to Boquete before I finally found this little gem. The other hotels I had stayed in seemed either over priced or, if they did have a reasonable price, it was for one of their low quality rooms. After paying $30 - $80/night, one of the locals told me to check out Colibri Lodging. When... More
