Detailed Reviews
My husband and I stayed here from Tues 2/8 - Fri 2/11. It's such a convenient location. It's on the same side of the Caldera River as the Tuesday Markets, and just a short walk to Boquete town center.
The hotel offers laundry service, for $6.50 we washed the equivalent of a 13 gal garbage bag of shorts, shirts, panties and socks. Took only a day.
Breakfast was included and excellent, huevos rancheros con jamon, coffee, and hojaldres or toast. The staff knew some English and we knew some Spanish so it worked. Breakfast officially began at 8 am, though you could stop in for coffee earlier. On our last day, the bus to Bocas del Toro was picking us up at 8 so the staff made sure we had coffee and breakfast sandwiches ready to go before our 3.5 hr trip. It was very nice of them.
The affiliated restaurant, Mesa Azul was fantastic, I recommend stopping in and making a reservation, though we didn't the first night and were still accommodated.
Melba at the front desk was very helpful and Alexendra and all of the staff at both restaurants were friendly and attentive.
This is a great place for couples, groups, or families, and I will come here again when I visit Boquete next year!

Great location, easy walk to downtown, wonderful staff especially the breakfast lady, beautiful views. I was able to open both patio doors and get a lovely breeze. The desert picture was from the restaurant, which was excellent. I thought the price was high for this time of year, at $150 per night for suite #2. My only issue was the cleanliness of the shower. The picture shows the mold/mildew on the shower door track. That bathroom smelled bad, especially the last night when it rained. I could smell the mildew ftom the bed. A little bleach twice a week would take care of that, and they need to clean the whole door track, from outside and inside (with the shower door closed, that is where it is really bad)). I don't know how previous guests could have missed that. I did report it to the front desk, but I don't think the lady knew what I meant by shower door track.

This is my 11th year to stay at El Oasis when I come to Boquete. The hospitality, the gardens, and the mountain views from my rooms make me feel closer to heaven!
I have never been disappointed with the level of professionalism of the staff and their willingness to accommodate my needs.
Since I don't cook on a regular basis when at home in Houston, I like going to the local markets and try all the varied fruits and vegetables. The kitchens in the apartments are well stocked and with the maid service, I don't miss a dishwasher.
And...when I want one of the best meals in town, I just go downstairs to the restaurant. The big Panamanian breakfasts in the garden patio are also delicious.
If you want a lovely, short or extended, holiday, I can recommend the El Oasis.
Pictures of the lovely gardens overlooking the Caldera River and the inviting balcony area.

El Oasis was that indeed, an oasis in the town of Boquete.
Now that I’m paying for a my own room, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the size, decor, extras such as fridge, tv, microwave, cutlery and dinnerware, safe, large bathroom and even view from a balcony.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable and plenty of layers of bedding to suit your sleeping temperature.
Breakfast is optional and you need to order the night before, ideally a group of people rather than just one.
The balcony areas are spacious with chairs to sit on and enjoy the view over the river into town. There is also a lounge area that includes a large fridge, which we used for refreshments and medication that need to be kept cold.
Located a short distance from the main part of town, readily accessible to ATM, supermarket, shops and attractions.
Enjoyed the privacy of this hotel but also how the quaint and eclectic decor made it inviting for everyone.

We had the room directly above the entrance as you look up - this is a suite with full kitchen, dining area, sitting area, separate loo and small patio. Then upstairs an en-suite, large double bed and another small balcony. Very comfy, but our tour meant we were only here one night.

Came from another hotel about 2 km from town and called first to see if we could leave our bags. Got there at 10:30 or 11 and were actually allowed to occupy our room (though we really weren't ready to, it was nice our bags were secured there). We were in #4 and the only negative of hotel is location above a raucous river sports bar below. The 'base' sound, late in the afternoon went on for hours! Fortunately, i had earplugs. The breakfast the next morning was delightful and complete, the server attentive. There's a back part of the hotel we didn't know was there til we LOOKED for breakfast...nice patios to sit out on. We sat out on the verandah overlooking the river and though it was misty-rainy, it was a delighful extension of the room. My husband was thrilled to find so many English speaking television stations. I guess a second 'negative' was that the safe was not working. Fortunately we did not put anything IN it before finding this out.
Would DEFINITELY stay here again as the price was also w/i the 'going' rate for bed/breakfasts throughout Panama.

It's 5 minutes from centre of town but quiet location. It's layout is higgledy-piggledy but there are breakout rooms to sit and read or do what you need to do. Room one double and one single bed. Really hot water which in the wet weather is great to freshen up. TV works. Only one plug in main room and in bathroom. Restaurant attached. Staff helpful. Parking on street.

It is a simple hotel in the center of Boquete very well located close to supermarkets, cafes, pharmacies and shops in general.
Very clean and with very attentive staff, especially the ladies in the morning who prepare you breakfast.
It is located next to one of the best restaurants in Boquete that you access directly from the hotel.

Wonderful place. They even gave us tea/coffee facilities for our room when we asked for it.
Beautiful view and the garden is a gem. We ate in the restaurant which was very good too.
