We found Hostal Doraz by accident and were stoked with what we found. We paid dorm prices ($10 each) and had the room to ourselves. It was set up like a hotel, turned down linen and clean towels for us to use, a hot shower...More
Nice family, very causy place, if your independent, if you dont need any servant. The hostal is downtown, 5 metres of the police station, very safe palce. Mountains everywhere! You can do your own meal in the kitchen and meet others travelers. Nice restaurants, bars...More
Doraz also got nice appartments in another house round the corner, just a year old with a total of four all with balkony / terrass inclunding volcano view!
still could use hostels kitchen - got a lot here for the money spent ;-)
We was 2, not a couple, we ask for a room available, and they had 1!
We was happy to find somewhere to stay, but after 15 min we find under the big bed condom used, and insect on the bed sheet...

The hostel has a good location, close to restaurants and shops. The owner is very nice: we booked 2 nights but arrived only the second day, and he made us pay only one night. The place is ok, but at night it is freezing... And...More
