This hotel was gorgeous. The grounds were teeming with beautiful flowers and birds of all kinds. The rooms were very nice and breakfast was delicious. The attentiveness and helpfulness of the staff was unparalleled, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Thank you so much for the excellent review! We're so glad that Rebeca, Abel and all the staff took such good care of you. We have an amazing team. We hope to see you again!

I have had the pleasure of staying twice and both times I enjoyed myself and the people I meet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast better than most. We went on a super informative coffee tour. Looks like renting ATV's would be very fun.

Great, relatively new inn with beautiful gardens and really great location if you have a car. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff is excellent; very friendly and helpful. Our room was average to small size with a kitchenette that was well equipped. Maid service was excellent,

I loved our room and service was excellent. We stayed 3 nights. Saw alot of cool birds there in the morning at breakfast. It was easy walking distance to restaurants. It is expensive but the room was large with a fridge, sink and microwave. First microwave I had seen in

The base of Volcan Baru is about a 20-25 minute drive from downtown Boquete. The climb, depending on your speed/condition, takes anywhere from 4-6 hours to ascend, and the same amount of to get down. So with climbing time and recovery time, it takes pretty much a full day out of your schedule. End of November can still be rainy up there, so a guide is definitely recommended. If you are specifically looking to climb Baru, that's one thing. But if you are just interested in hiking generally, there are other, better trails that are easier to access, less strenuous and won't take so much time out of your stay: The Lost Waterfalls, The Waterfall trail, The Quetzal Trail.

From Boquete you can scuba or snorkel in Boca Chica which is on the Pacific coast and about one hour from the hotel. The hotel can arrange a day trip there, just ask them.

Well, that was a quirk about the Boquete Garden Inn. We had to pay them entirely in cash. I don't know why. It was rather inconvenient to do this. One thing to watch out for is that many U.S. banks have an ATM foreign withdrawal fee. Having to pay in cash was almost a deal breaker for me. But it all worked out really well for us. Don't know about taxis We rented a car from Avis. They were the only car rental in the David Airport. I was not happy with the Avis rental. Car rental companies can be pretty slimy in the U.S. In Panama it is even worse.

I always go to ‘Cowboy Dave’s’. A little way out of Boquete but he’s independent and rents cars for out of country owners and his rates are better.

Don't know for sure as renter in PC and that was $268 for six days unlimited milage. Think there is a guy called California Dave in David, who rents second hand cars and truck. Look him up on the internet. Good luck you'll love Boquete
