Detailed Reviews
We visited Boquete a few years ago and found this beautiful location for our visit this year! The views were breathtakingly beautiful. The new management could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. The food was delicious prepared by their Italian chef. We will be back and highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from it all and relax! Oh! We had massages while we were there in the property as well which made it that much more enjoyable

I stayed here 2 nights with my father in law in separate rooms. We had #4 & #5 in the cabins and checked in late. The woman at the front welcomed us and got us set up quickly and with waters after a long drive from Panama City.
The cabins were so beautiful with a comfortable bed, a fridge and a strong hot shower and an incredible view from a private patio. I really loved the room and location high up in a hill just minutes from the restaurants in the town.
Everyone here was so helpful and friendly and it was such a pleasure to stay here and it was an unbelievable value. Highly recommended!

we stayed at this hotel in a nice cabin with balcony facing the volcano, amazing views. includes breakfast but its quite simple, not great, but the service was good, a little bit slow on busy days, since it was carnival. the rest was great. I highly recommend it. The room is comfortable and we rested a lot.

We stayed in this lodge about a week ago and left very disappointed. We found a good deal on booking.com and decided to stay here and although some of the rooms seems to look nice, we checked in to a room which was not properly cleaned. The same evening we found a huge spider inside the shower which could not have been missed if the room was cleaned properly. We complained at reception and the receptionist gave us another room while mumbling an apology. The second room we got was a bit nicer and cleaner than the first one so we were fine with the solution. The next day we woke up and found that the water was shut off during the night. We couldn't take a shower that morning or brush our teeth and there was dirty brown water in the toilet (which we also couldn't flush). We had to leave early and spoke to the manager at reception and told her about our experience. The manager was very friendly and apologetic but could not offer any compensation without approval from the owner who was not around. She promised to speak to the owner later that day and get back to us, which she never did. We have sent her 2 emails to remind her, but not even a reply was sent. Obviously they don't care! Furthermore the manager had told us in the morning of check out that they have an issue with the water all the time as it was out of their control as the water was shut off in all of Boquete, however when we stopped for a breakfast somewhere else in town we found out that they never was an issue with the water.

(Pros) We got welcome-drinks (we chose hot chocolate). Staff was nice and spoke English. The property was beautiful. Beds and sheets were reasonably comfy. Located in the mountain and greens of the forested hills. Pretty (also cold-ish and rainy).
(Cons) The rooms were very simple (beds, shelves, night-stand and bathroom). No fridge.
Perfect for one night. We needed a stay to hike the pipeline trail/sendero near Volcan Baru in the morning (before we drove to stay near Almirante, to catch the ferry to Bocas Del Toro the following day).

We had such a nice experience. Our room was clean, comfortable and had hot water. The property was peaceful and well maintained. Breakfast was included and was nice. The staff was very professional and friendly. Definately amongst the nicest people we've ever met in Panama. We forgot something in our room and they shipped it to us. We highly reccomend them.

We were looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to spend a week. Santuario Lodge was a perfect choice. The room was large, immaculate and comfortable with great views of the mountains and valley below. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was excellent as well, including the guanabana juice which is so hard to find.
Can't recommend the place enough for a tranquil, wonderful place to stay!
