This is a lovely, reasonably priced hotel in a great location. Staff was friendly and helpful and room was a nice size. Breakfast is made to order but there was also some fresh cut fruit. You serve yourself coffee or tea and there’s milk and sugar available. They also arranged for a coffee tour and transportation was provided. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was fine, very suitable for a place to stay when you come to Boquete to hike. Comfortable beds and big with nice chairs at the balcony. The rest of the hotel was not to our liking. The breakfast was really horrible and they even made us pay when we asked for some additonal eggs because they finished the tray?! The flowers at the back are beautiful, but that is really the only thing that is taken care off.

I made a reservation at this beautiful hotel and inadvertently clicked the no refund button. They were kind enough to refund some of my reservation charges, but not the full cost. I probably won't make a reservation again here. I will live in Coronado beginning January 1st and will find another place to stay if I visit Boquete.

I have spent 4 nights here and unfortunately have 5 more nights booked. It was a big mistake to book ahead for this long as part of the Panama Relocation Tour. While the beds are comfortable and seem clean, and the staff is courteous, helpful and friendly….that’s it.Theres a list of what’s placed in the room and on the list is exactly 2 clothes hangers. Two water bottles were here the first day only. There’s one hand towel for two people. There’s nothing to do/ use at the hotel. It s in a lovely setting and yes, a short pleasant walk to town. Morning coffee at the breakfast buffet is served in maybe 4 ounce cups. The servers pout it for you but it’s cooled by the time you get to your table to drink the two sips that are in the cup. You will be given exactly one packet of sweetener, if you ask for it. On the plus side, the servers learn what you like or how you drink your coffee so you don’t have to do to continually ask for cream.
Wash cloths may be picked up at the front desk, by the way, but don’t t expect restocking by maid service. One day she left the clean ONE; the next day I received one clean ;to go with one I picked up at the desk;. the next day one clean was left, and the next day none were replaced. Day 2 no foot towel was replaced and I was given a dirty one when I requested one.
The room is poorly lit; don’t expect great pillows, but lots of light comes in at night. Maids will turn off AC and fans when servicing your room…… and well TIP….this is Panama.
Stay somewhere else.

Beautiful hotel on the Caldera River, with very friendly people and very clean throughout. Lovely location close to town yet within nature. Waking up to the sounds of Birds and the sound of the river. Planning on coming back.

Small hotel (only 20 rooms). Clean and comfortable. Not a lot of amenities. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast included in our rate, plus free Wifi. Close to the river, which recently had a riverwalk installed. Between hotel and river is road that appears to generate a decent amount of truck traffic, so it can be noisy at times. All that said, I would recommend this hotel!

Very clean centrally located hotel. Easily walk to Boquete. The staff helped up coordinate all our activities while in Boquete. Very small bar, but they are eager to make you happy. They were helpful with all of our plans. They even held our breakfast on the morning we came down from our volcano trip.

The hotel has lovely rooms. Clean and well appointed. Good staff, plenty of hot water & ample towels. good A/C. Quiet area. Walkable to many restaurants & shops.
One issue is that the beds are terribly hard & really need upgrading. The linens, pillows and quilts are ok, but could also be upgraded.
I’d say if they did this, this hotel would be top notch.
Food: terribly disappointing. We were with a group, so I understand that the menu may have been different. But most of the dinner was inedible, IMO.
Eat somewhere else.
All in all, a good choice!

This newly built and spotlessly clean motel is a convenient 10-minute walk from town. Elena at the front desk was very helpful in arranging local tours and advising us on the best way to travel to Bocas Del Toro (take the shuttle, not a rental car). We slept well in Boquete--the frogs croaking in the rear parking lot was the only sound we heard in the evening.

It's a 10-minute taxi ride, maybe 20 minute walk from Hotel Ladera to the Boquete town square.
We can provide a trusted contact to pick you up!
