Only positive thing to say about this place - it is easy to find and the rooms are spacious. But what do you need two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a kitchen for when they are so dirty and worn down that you really don't want to go there? Same goes for the furniture - the beds are partly covered in plastic. Parts not covered are so dirty it is hard to believe... AC works - sort of, but is extremely noicy. And cocroaches the size of a grown mans thumb does not make the stay more pleasant... if you are in need for breakfast there is no coffe shop nearby, you will need a car. The supermarket across the high way opens at 9. Plan better than we did - perhaps there are better places to stay if you need to visit Sur.
Recently went to this place with friends. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They tried their best to give us the best room within our available budget. Really appreciate Mr Rajesh and Mr Sudeesh for guiding us with food options and planning our trip around Sur. They have rent a car too so you don't have to search around and it is again value for money. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Sur who is not so bothered about the sophistication or luxury of a hotel. It has everything that you need for a short stay. More than the stay, I got two friends Mr Rajesh and Mr Sudeesh at this place. Thanks and cheers to Rajesh and Sudeesh!!!
We were searching for a cheap hotel to spend a night, We were a group of three guys looking for a place to crash in for a night. This place fit the bill as it was cheap, the rooms were clean and they also had cars to rent, which for us was a relief as we had checked almost a dozen of rent-a-car shops since morning (including Muscat) but all were closed as it was a Friday. The manager Mr Rajesh was very friendly and helpful. As soon as we reached we wanted to look for a place to eat. He offered us his car to go for lunch, free of charge. He also gave us a good deal on the rent-a-car. We wanted to go for turtle watching but the main reserve (Ras Al Jinz Reserve) was already booked. Mr Rajesh also does a private tour for turtle watching at another beach at a cheaper price (3 riyal per person. Ras al jinz reserve is 5 riyals). So that was another benefit of staying at this place (not sure how many other hotels do that). In the end he also dropped us to the taxi stand for our return trip to Muscat (we would have had to take a cab otherwise). So overall staying at this hotel was very beneficial for us, cost wise and convenience wise.…
