We already stayed several times in this hotel. But after our last stay we cancelled future reservations. Gym was closed even if it is allowed to open by Government. Breakfast was only in room. There were very few guests so we understand there is no buffet, but it was too basic for price paid. Our first room had noise from a nearby restaurant, so we got another room which was windowless, even if we had reser ation for deluxe room. Bathroom was completely flooded after shower. Water kettle was dirty.

Chef Akhilesh, Chef Dominic are not only a great chefs who have done a wonderful job at looking after my dietary needs, but also carry attitude that was always positive. Along with chefs, Waitress Rubylyn Performance & attitude is exemplary. They are extremely nice and anyone having their services is very lucky. I am fortunate to have them during my tenure and highly recommend them- they are professionals who deliver what they promise.

I stayed in a De Luxe Room for six (6) nights prior to my flight home on Nov. 21. It was a rainy Sunday mid noon when I arrived and quite visible was the lack of activity at the hotel lobby, somewhat gloomy and there was no Concierge staff to assist. That was understandable considering the situation we are in. So came the Reception and courteously inquired of my booking reservation and in a matter of minutes, she completed my check-in formality and directed me to my room, in the 1st floor Rm 1033. Golden Tulip Headington lived to its discerning reputation with its' well- appointed rooms complete with all essential amenities. I liked the tempered-glass work desk with the ergonomic chair, it made my work fast & comfortable. WIFI service was dependable. I managed to check and replies my emails with ease. The room was suitably sound proofed, spacious, and most of all immaculately clean. I truly enjoyed their food menu; servings are generous and taste is so delectable. Mr. Chef is undoubtedly an expert of the Indian dishes, incomparable with those so-so cheap restaurants around the corners. Its a 5-star to Mr. Chef for food preparation and special accolade to the friendly Filipina Reception and the lady Room Service who made sure my food orders are well attended. I would also like to express gratitude to the nice young Indian Housekeeping guy who went out of his way to help me when I got accidentally locked-out of my room. Golden Tulip Headington Ruwi is conveniently located with proximity to the main streets within the famous gold souq of Ruwi and the Mwasalat bus hub. Really enjoyed our stay here. Clean, comfortable and quiet hotel with excellent breakfast and great facilities. Car park has sufficient spaces and location is within 15 mins of souk and main tourist spots by car. It is near a small souq and area can get busy on a Friday but hotel itself is a quiet spot Recommend for sure.
