I stayed at all three Marriott hotels during my visit: Sheraton Oman, W Muscat, Ritz-Carlton Al Bustan Palace. Overall, Sheraton Oman is my most exceptional stay among all the three hotels. Elite Recognition: All elite benefits duly delivered. Love it when hotels recognize and deliver on the elite benefits due. Rooms: Well designed and spacious rooms. Kitchenette very convenient when travelling with kids. Breakfast: Excellent breakfast. LOVE the fresh vegetable.juice counter. Spa: The spa is FANTASTIC and a real highlight at the hotel. This I think is a huge hidden advantage of the hotel and something that might not occur to vacationing guests. The indoor temperature-controlled pool, hot tub, along with the spa treatments make for a perfect combination. The spa therapist at your spa is great and probably in the top-3 among all my spa visits at Marriott hotels. Club Lounge: The Club Lounge is really good. The selection of wines for the cocktail hour is very good! I loved the red wine. I really also appreciate that when we let the Club Lounge team know we are vegetarians, we had hot vegetarian food available when we visited the lounge. Due kudos to the Pastry team. The Arabic sweet that was prepared daily at the lounge was super-tasty. I am someone who usually takes just one piece of a sweet but I couldn't help relish on multiple pieces of the Arabic sweet. Accurate Posting of Points for Spa Spend I detest having to follow-up with the hotel and/or Marriott when points earned for my spa spend don't post to my account. I had no such issues at the Sheraton Oman which speaks to the integrity of the hotel. Housekeeping/Room Service: Housekeeping did a fantastic job everyday with great turnaround time. Not once did I come back from breakfast and/or my lounge visit to find my room not cleaned after my request. In-room service was prompt. Overall, top-notch hospitality.…
Qualified and friendly staff specially the reception staff🌹big thanks for Sheraton hotel I enjoy the stay and breakfast was perfect 👍 very nice activity for children 👍 definitely I will come back again
Sheraton Oman is quite forgettable offering the usual Sheraton touches but nothing outstanding or particularly noteworthy. Beds were ok, breakfast was fine, buffet lunch in the on-site restaurant had a wide range of curry and a roast Turkey but lacked real variety and was absurdly expensive for what was offered. Staff were friendly and helpful. I probably wouldn’t go back, there are better hotels in Muscat.
Very nice stay, attentive and friendly staff happy to help Staff provided tips and contacts to local guides who are very professional, knowledgable and friendly. Food is very good incl. breakfast but choice of coffee for breakfast should be improved. Happy to come again
I have stayed during last week for 6 nights. Hotel is amazing, When you enter to hotel , you feel yourself at home. Cause there are talented people makes your stay unforgettable . I would like to thank you , Mr Sameh and his incredible front office desk team , F&B operation , Courtyard Hostess Ms , Lita ( she deserves to be recognized ) , Chef Talal , the juice man makes our day every moorning . Chef Adil and his team , Chef Mustafa went above for all what we need. Beatiful pool facility. I highly recommend this property for your business and leusire stays.
This was my to go hotel whenever I was in muscat but after this trip I will reconsider this for the future. The service really dropped drastically, breakfast choices reduced by 50% and quality of the food by 75%. I wrote a few years ago that this was one of my favorite bf in a hotel, for now it is not even in my top 100. In the executive lounge there is no coffee machine, because they are doing maintenance to it, since more than 2 weeks. 2 days in a row there was no housekeeping tin the room, after calling twice the reception at 6pm they came and did the room. Rooms are still spacious and comfortable, every single staff is very friendly and smiling. Swimming pool is well maintained and lovely to be around. Gym is very well equipped. This is clearly a mgmt decision to cut costs and reduce the quality, which is in my opinion a pity, in my opinion better to ask a bit more money per night and keep your service to the same level as before.…
The room was fantastic and the breakfast was simply superb. Everyone attended with utmost professionalism. Very friendly staff and super accommodative. Room was really spacious and the decor inside was really nice. Highly recommend this place for business or personal visit.
We had the most wonderful day at sheraton Oman. I can’t describe it. The greeting when we checked in was amazing the rooms was clean and beautiful. The we had dinner was so Delicious at Asado South American Steakhouse it was so nice the staff wear the best and the food The next day they gave us late checkout thank you so much then we enjoyed the ghetto kids show Overall we enjoyed as group of girls @sheratton Oman
I booked this hotel for a 10 hr stay as I had a 2AM flight out of Muscat. Only reason I selected this hotel was because it was a Marriott Bonvoy property. Check in was very quick and friendly. I used my suite upgrade certificate for a 1 bedroom suite. It was very large, clean and everything was in working condition. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were awful. They were so flat (see photo) and provided absolutely no support. Bathroom was spacious with separate tub and shower. Disappointed that hotel is still using plastic toiletry bottles. Wish they would be more environmentally responsible and change to a refillable system like other Marriott Hotel's. WiFi connection was good and decent selection of tv channels, however some were not working such as CNN. I did pop into the executive lounge mid-day for a cappuccino but the coffee machine was not working and no attendant was present. Selection of snacks consisted of dates and cookies. Fresh fruit such as apples and bananas would have been welcomed. Staff were wearing masks but was not enforcing guests even though local regulations state masks must be worn indoors. Overall the hotel was okay. I certainly wouldn't stay here more than 1 night.…
Stay there for almost 2 months and it nothing but one word to the ground staff "excellent". Special shoutout to the F&B staff such Tharndn, Chef Tala , Mohammed & Masuma very accomodating staff over there. Just some minor improvement I would think on the food choices, they need to have more fruits selection in their lounge and breakfast. Overall a very pleasant stay. Keep it up!
